Outstanding Chinese food made fresh at the time of the order. Everything I had has been wonderful. You can find some exotic dishes that other Chinese restaurants don't have.

This isn't a place to go for a nice romantic night out, but if want some of the best Chinese food in the area this is the place to go. Friendly staff, Quick Food!

I love eating here! It is not fancy, but the food is delicious! I have tried most of the menu and never found anything that I did not like. If you don't see something on the menu that you want, or you want to modify something on the menu, just ask. The owners are the ones in the kitchen doing... More

This place is not fancy but the owners will make you anything you want. They make authentic dishes for the many Chinese students in Ames. Dishes that you might find in a street cart in China. They have taught us some of the differences in American and Chinese dishes. They remember you if you go more than once. We think... More

This is our first choice for food in Ames. Generous portions for the right price and it is always great. I have tried most of the menu and I like everything. My favorites are the spicy beef soup, hot braised pork, and angry chicken. When they say it is spicy, believe it.

Not the best in ames. I find the Americanized dishes cheap and greasy. If you want good noodles and hot and sour soup that is super cheap here is the place. Do not get the American Chinese though here is is greasy, chew when suppose to be crispy, and tasteless. Go to the Buffet by the movies for American Chinese... More

Right off the cash part was a problem, luckily there was an ATM next door at the Swift Stop. I had the Combination Lo Mein, best I have ever had. Son had sweet & sour chicken and Crab Rangoon, he said it was very good but not as good as The Mandarin, but still at a fraction of the price... More

I have been to the fancy Chinese places in NYC, CA, Las Vegas. This place is better! Fast service. Hot-and-sour soup is superb. I recommend Ma Po Tofu with pork. A favorite with Iowa State Chinese students who love large slurpy noodle bowls. A lucky thing when best place is also least expensive!

This is always the first shout out when we say what's should we eat? They have all of the usual favorites and the true Asian cooking that they do so very well. This is a great value and recommend the bowls. Family run and great service.
