We enjoyed a wonderful buffet served family style as a special offer over the 4th of July weekend. The meat was great, side dishes satisfying and included drink and desert. Had two grand kids with us who ate for free. Service was very good. Special meal did not include German specialties but overall a great meal.

Enjoyed the German food here--many options, plus family-style dining. Prices were competitive; also includes a gift shop.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. The atmosphere is always pleasant. The food is served family style, which the kids really like. I have never had a meal here that wasn't good.

My friend and I went to this restaurant especially for the apple glazed pork chops that were featured on the Travel Channel. We were very disappointed. The chops were dry and tough - obviously not fresh. The sides were delicious though and this certainly won't stop us from going back. But next time I won't listen to the Travel Channel!

This restaurant was better than their competition. The food was plentiful and delicious. Get the food served family style vs. the plated version and you will get unlimited sides. All the sides were good. The banana cream pie for dessert was good, too. The server was not too attentive, however. There is a little store attached with gifts for the... More

Not many places to eat in Amana. This one is Ok. Food is pricey for what it is. Expect$30+ for sandwiches and drink. Food nothing to write home about. Desserts were quite good. Service is decent. But it's Iowa. Really $30-40 for lunch? You're captive in this little town and they know it. If you're here, you have to go... More

This restaurant is in the middle of the Amana Colonies. They are famous for country style service where they serve the table with many different dishes. We opted for a plated meal which was fine for us. Service was very good.

The food and service was really good. We tried the apple glazed pork chop recommended on the Travel Channel. What an awesome meal! The Rueben sandwiches are awesome! You won't leave here hungry, unless you didn't eat!

We had lunch here after a nice tour. The food was good and plentiful but disappointing in that it was not as "German" tasting as we hoped. Perhaps this is how it became Americanized over time but still the meats were tender and the sides were good.

The dinner portions are huge!! I had a pot roast with gravy and barely finished it! The sweet server brought a tray of fresh slices of pies. Very good!!
