Hubby and I stopped for lunch and had the roast beef sandwich which was marked on the menu to be a quick order. No lies there...it was quick and the menu billed it as tender and it was. Our server, Wendy, was efficient and observant. We were pleased with our meal.

As much as I hate to say this, but after many years coming to Amana, and looking forward to Ox Yoke Inn, I must say that I was really disappointed. My memories here include meeting my biological mother and grandfather for the first time with my parents. Something has changed, probably society for one, but I just didn't feel excited... More

Our last visit was 46 years ago on our honeymoon and memory fades after that long. This visit was rather disappointing with the food on a par with what you would find at a Denny's. We had been expecting better. My husband had the pork chop with apples with the apples being a small cup of applesauce on the plate.... More

The food is great and the service was top notch! I'm not fluent in German cuisine so I can't attest to how authentic it is but I can say we all enjoyed our meals. Even the kids meals were outstanding. We would definitely eat here again.

We had the Bavari Inn sandwich with the chips and it was wonderful. The staff were kind. It is a very large place with a lot going on!

We had a group of 10 people. It was a busy Saturday night, so we had reservations. The service was exceptional good, the food was brought out quickly and everybody raved how good their meal was. Also, it was nice that we were able sit and visit with our friends and didn't feel rushed to leave.

The Ox Yoke Inn's dining room has a very large bus/server station in the middle and it is open for all to see. The only good point about this is that you can usually see you server sooner than later. Each dining room has its own décor; charming Bavarian and more modern. I asked for the more Bavarian one and... More

Very, very, delicious food. I had the Jager Snitzel My husband had the Sauerbraten. Both meals were excellent, tender, and flavorful. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. The waitresses are pleasant and very efficient. Our food was delivered in a short amount of time. I feel it is the best restaurant around. We decided... More

This was an unexpected trip. Our host brought us here for dinner. It was family style. You choose your meat and sides are all shared. I can't recall everything we had but it was all delicious, plentiful and reasonably priced. Service was attentive. The German Chocolate Cake was wonderful. Not something we would have found on our own and well... More
