Food so fresh you want to slap it

Food was plain and plentiful nothing fancy but filling. Dinner for two starts about $35. Fried chicken was good and fried potatoes are greasy crispy. Staff was very friendly but it is not my first choice when dining in this visit worthy town.

VERY SAD. This was a great place at one time. My Grand Child wanted more mashed potatoes said they ran out. The bowl was small in the first place. My pot roast was mixed had fresh meat on top and old bad taste odd colored pot roast on the bottom. I confronted the front about meat and mashed potatoes when... More

I personally picked the Colony Inn because it has been a family favorite for years! A restaurant down the street has a buffet, but I prefer that we are all able to sit and talk without having to keep getting up and leaving the table. The meal is served family style and our drinks, salad, cottage cheese, bread and butter,... More

They serve you family style food choices and we loved it! They bring your sides out in bowls. All the food is either made locally or by local standards and recipes.

My 15 year old granddaughter, her friend and I had lunch at the Colony Inn today and it was TERRIBLE. The girls ordered the chicken, and of the 4 pieces they got (2 per plate) 3 of them were wings! I believe each dinner was around $14. I ordered Wiener schnitzel and if you can picture frozen cutlets breaded with... More

When we want a great breakfast we drive 70 miles to the Colony Inn. The family style breakfast begins with orange juice, fruit, toasted English muffin bread, and homemade strawberry jam. Shorty after is the highlight--a very thin pancake along with potatoes, eggs, sausage and bacon. Of course, once you finish that serving they will bring you another complete serving,... More

I brought my new husband here after bragging to him for several years now about how great the food was. Needless to say he was not impressed and I was very embarrassed. The service was not great and the food was bland and tasteless. There were very few patrons dining that evening and now I know why. Do not waste... More
