Before the Paramount

We made a reservation here prior to heading to the Paramount for a show. We were seated right away upon arrival. The server was aware of our time frame and we were done in plenty of time. He was very attentive and did a good explaination of the menu. We each had a different three course meal... read more

The prices here are through the roof and the food is just Ok. It's in a old building that would be better surved as a coffee shop. It was a maze of old mis-matched peices for furniture and wall decor. The chair I sat in was wobbly. The food was so-so and the service worse. They were out of their... More

Our visit was on a Saturday evening prior to the show at the Paramount. We arrived at about five and were seated at a comfortable table towards the back of the room. We ordered the five course meal and each course was delicious! As the evening went on the room became very full and very loud which was made even... More

Went there on a Saturday night when they had a very large party taking up most of their tables. Servers where friendly but clearly preoccupied with larger party. Less than spectacular service combined with high noise level and underwhelming food adds up to average at best.

Chef Amaury's is probably the best restaurant in the western suburbs. While the location is extremely unfortunate (Aurora isn't exactly a tourist haven) the atmosphere, food, and service are extraordinary. One of the most important parts of a restaurant experience is good service, and Chef Amaury's gives the best service around. Every waiter is kind, waits on you, and truly... More

We visited Chef Amaury's on New Year's Eve and could not have been more impressed. The atmosphere, food, and spirits was superb. What a gem this place is...from decor, to staff, to the owners, it was all a wonderful experience. We highly reccommend you treat yourself to Chef Amaury's when in the area.

We walked into this restaurant off of New York Street near the Fox River and were greeted with a view of the bar area before being escorted to the dining area. The restaurant is in an old reclaimed building on the river with old wooden floors and brick walls. Nothing elegant but very comfortable and blessedly quiet inviting good table... More

I eat here consistently and each time love it more. The menu changes based upon what is in season and what local farmers grow and provide. The food is prepared beautifully and is excellent. You can order a 5 course meal or a la carte. The prices are reasonable. The wine selection is amazing and different. The waiters know the... More

Very small quaint quiet restaurant in downtown Aurora near Hollywood Casino. Food and service were outstanding. A very nice place to celebrate a special occasion or to grab a cocktail and appetizer. Highly recommend.
