Very small quaint quiet restaurant in downtown Aurora near Hollywood Casino. Food and service were outstanding. A very nice place to celebrate a special occasion or to grab a cocktail and appetizer. Highly recommend.

Quaint restaurant with awesome food that you won't get anywhere else. Staff is outstanding and setting is very comfortable. Chef Amaury's creations will keep you coming back.

Our experience at this restaurant was, let's say, one of a kind but not in a good way. I came in alone while my husband parked the car. It took a long time to get a drink at the bar. I also let the owner know that we were going to the theatre and may be in a bit of... More

Our meal was very nice, especially the salad course and the squash soup. The fish was fine, but the short rib entree was dissappointing (boring tasting afer the interesting salad, soup and fish courses). It was fun that Chef came out and offered to let us browse his cookbook collection on the opposite wall. Very convenient to the Paramount.

We were headed to the theater in Aurora and looked in Trip Advisor for some ideas as to where to have dinner. On the basis of the very favorable reviews, we selected Chef Amaury's. Given the universally positive reviews, I am sorry to have to say our experience was mixed, at best. First, the service. The waitress was very attentive,... More

The food was excellent and in the category of a fine dining/special occasion restaurant. With interesting presentation and tastiness of the food from the appetizer, soup, entrees, and dessert you will not be disappointed in the food or the unique dining experience. It will cost about $65+ per person. The location is nearby The Paramount Theatre, that hosts Broadway productions,... More

Last night we didn't want to do the same old same old so we did an internet search to try to find something new in the Naperville/Aurora area. Trip advisor had excellent reviews so we drove out and had a phenomenal meal. Chef Amaury does it right. Everything is prepared perfectly. The chef's tasting menu has salad, soup (we found... More

Saturday before Paramount's show, without reservations we stopped in for dinner. There were 3 or 4 empty tables but the Hostess had to check with her manager if we could be allowed a table?! She came back and escorted us to a window seat which was a perfect spot. It took our server a fair amount of time to come... More

It's nice to have a "quality" restaurant in downtown Aurora. But, the lamb was undercooked, the scallops slightly undercooked, and the owner sits in the bar talking on the cell phone. The food is very tasty and you'll open your wallet to pay for it. We hope it makes it as we don't have too many other good dining choices... More

We went on a busy Saturday night after the 4PM paramont show. It was obviously challenging to handle the people finishing dinner before the 8PM show and the people coming in after the 4PM show. The staff made the appropriate priorities to get people to the theater while still handling the new people arrriving and acknowledging they were a bit... More
