We walked into this restaurant off of New York Street near the Fox River and were greeted with a view of the bar area before being escorted to the dining area. The restaurant is in an old reclaimed building on the river with old wooden floors and brick walls. Nothing elegant but very comfortable and blessedly quiet inviting good table... More

I eat here consistently and each time love it more. The menu changes based upon what is in season and what local farmers grow and provide. The food is prepared beautifully and is excellent. You can order a 5 course meal or a la carte. The prices are reasonable. The wine selection is amazing and different. The waiters know the... More

Very small quaint quiet restaurant in downtown Aurora near Hollywood Casino. Food and service were outstanding. A very nice place to celebrate a special occasion or to grab a cocktail and appetizer. Highly recommend.

Our experience at this restaurant was, let's say, one of a kind but not in a good way. I came in alone while my husband parked the car. It took a long time to get a drink at the bar. I also let the owner know that we were going to the theatre and may be in a bit of... More

Our meal was very nice, especially the salad course and the squash soup. The fish was fine, but the short rib entree was dissappointing (boring tasting afer the interesting salad, soup and fish courses). It was fun that Chef came out and offered to let us browse his cookbook collection on the opposite wall. Very convenient to the Paramount.

We were headed to the theater in Aurora and looked in Trip Advisor for some ideas as to where to have dinner. On the basis of the very favorable reviews, we selected Chef Amaury's. Given the universally positive reviews, I am sorry to have to say our experience was mixed, at best. First, the service. The waitress was very attentive,... More

The food was excellent and in the category of a fine dining/special occasion restaurant. With interesting presentation and tastiness of the food from the appetizer, soup, entrees, and dessert you will not be disappointed in the food or the unique dining experience. It will cost about $65+ per person. The location is nearby The Paramount Theatre, that hosts Broadway productions,... More

Last night we didn't want to do the same old same old so we did an internet search to try to find something new in the Naperville/Aurora area. Trip advisor had excellent reviews so we drove out and had a phenomenal meal. Chef Amaury does it right. Everything is prepared perfectly. The chef's tasting menu has salad, soup (we found... More
