Large salad bar to start with, nice selection of hot entrees, desert bar, soups are always great .Assortment of bread/ rolls, more than anyone could try at one meal, but if your a picky eater you would surely find something good to eat. Has high metal ceilings, not much sound absorption and gets noisy at times.. Often has coupons in... More

We always enjoy sweet tomatoes. The food is fresh and there is a wide variety. The soups are always hot and hearty. The salads are fresh and the bread and muffins are warm and flavorful. The buffet is always well stocked. I feel like we are eating healthy when we visit here. We always use coupons so this is a... More

This is the best salad bar in the entire world! They have thought of everything and it is there waiting for you and fresh, besides. Between 2 and 5, seniors get a special deal that includes your beverage! They keep everything very full and clean! I love this place.

I am so happy I decided to stop by for lunch this week with my sister and her girls, ages 6 and 8, WOW - so much to choose from and so much more healthy as compared to many of the other "buffet" type places in the area !!! Everything was fresh, clean, and it was very easy to put... More

Don't eat here if you are looking for protein. There is none. Carbs & salads is what you'll find. Definitely overpriced for what you get even if it is a buffet.

My husband and I had a wedding to plan in under four months and everything was going smoothly until choosing what to have for food. My mouth dropped every time i spoke with a cater. The amount of money they wanted was insane for dry chicken and beef with gravy. No thank you. One my husband didn't like the food,... More

I first encountered Sweet Tomatoes when working in Southern California over 20 years ago. When they opened their first store in Chicago, I was happy to drive over an hour to get to it. The food is fresh and tasty with new offerings every time I go. Make certain to try the soup offerings and leave room for making your... More

Lots of fresh veggies on the salad bar and interesting options including soup, pasta, baked potatoes, and pizza bread. There is a lack of any type of meat on the salad bar, some grilled chicken or cubed ham would be perfect. The soft serve ice cream and fresh muffins & desserts are always good too.
