Great food and family friendly!

The prices are a bit high for an average dinner, but as a special treat this place was amazing. We were from out of town so the waiter explained the history of the restaurant and offered to show us around the 6 dining areas that were all themed differently. He knew what he was talking about and... read more

I bought a $75 gift card for my sister to use at Luigi’s House since she loves Julian’s Piano Bar. Prior to purchasing it, I called the customer service number to verify that it could be used at the Piano bar and the person stated YES since it was owned by the Portillo’s brand AND that it had the Luigi’s... We had a 5 course dinner and appies in the private dinning room. Food was homestyle service which is a nice change. Portions were large and food was excellent. The cheese ravioli was amazing and i would order it again.

Great atmosphere. I love the sausage bread appetizer. I ordered steak from here once and it was delicious. I have never been disappointed when dining here.

I know this place is owned by Dick Portillo founder/owner of the fantastic chain of Portillo's Hot dogs and Barnelli's Pasta fast food joints however, this place is horrible food!!! People tell me it's their favorite Italian restaurant in Naperville/Aurora area, must NOT be Italian!!! The Italian food at Barnelli's inside many Portillo's restaurants is way better tasting and more... More

Had lunch there recently. Food is similar (meaning good) to other offerings at Portillo's chain, but presented in a higher quality setting: rustic Italian environment, fireplace, white tablecloths, booths with drapes. Fresh bread and dipping olive oil brought to the table while we waited. Waitress was very attentive and knowledgeable. Lunch was served promptly and portions were quite large.

We have been there three times. The food is good and the atmosphere is wonderful. The first time was the best.

Been there several times and recently hosted a family style dinner for 12. Christine arranged it and couldn't have been more helpful, we all had a wonderful time and the food was terrific! Everyone raved about the service and the meal. Went back the following week with out of town guests and they too were impressed. It's not pretentious but... More

Had lunch there for the 2nd time now. Love this place! There is plenty of parking, and the restaurant is lots bigger than it looks from the outside. There is a large piano bar, and several other rooms of varying sizes, one with a fireplace. The idea is that you are visiting a house in Italy. My friend and I... More

My family and I have been going here for years but as of the last two or three years the overall experience has gone down hill. Each time we go back in hopes of changes for the better, we are disappointed. The staff are not the problem. They are great. It is the quality of the food and the cleanliness... More
