Just ok

It was a Monday night and pretty quiet. I had a pizza and a pbr. Both were ok. Service was alright, nothing outstanding though. I imagine on a busy night it would be fun to interact a bit.

Came with group of 20 were placed in separate area in back of restaurant. Perfect for our group to stand and mingle. Had a large TV to watch Blackhawks game. Service was great until our server had to check out. We totally understand his shift had to end. However, after his departure no one ever came back. We walked to... More

We have eaten here several times after seeing a play at the Metropolis Theater and have never been disappointed. I love their fish tacos but there are many other options available. Good for beer drinkers.

Nothing extraordinary about this place, but certainly a worthwhile choice if you're in this area. Loud, fun, decent bar fare, we neither neither blown away nor disappointed.

I hadn't been to Peggy Kinnane's for many a year and my memory was of an average joint with not so great Irish pub food. Not sure if my memory was just faulty or if they've changed dramatically but on a recent return visit for dinner, was quite pleasantly surprised at finding a wonderful establishment with many great food choices... We've been coming here since it opened and we always enjoy ourselves. They've come a long way with their menu which now has many good options. Appetizers, salads, sandwiches, burgers and entrees all offer many choice selections. The Sourdough bread bowl with cheese is notable. There are dozens of craft beers available. It's all good. The thing I like best... More

A friend advised us to stop in here after visiting a disappointing winery down the road. So glad we did. Our waitress Michelle, was wonderful. The atmosphere was great and the food is to DIE FOR! We had Peggy's Sourdough Bread bowl to snack on. This is an amazing dish. Its cornbeef and swiss in a bread bowl. But don't... More

My friend and I attended an event at Arlington Park and decided to go to Arlington Heights for lunch because there are (more) choices. There were several places we thought about, but picked Peggy Kinnane's, and are we glad we did!!! The atmosphere is extremely charming and visually stimulating. Comfy booths with moveable benches! and, at least in the room... More

There are a number of restaurants in the very immediate area, but since St. Patrick's Day was only a few hours away, we thought we would try Peggy Kinnane's for a late lunch. We were not disappointed. When you first enter, you do get the ambiance is certainly that of an Irish pub. There are different seating areas and a... More
