Non Traditional Irish Lunch

We have passed by here many times, but had never gone in for a meal, so we decided to try it today. Neither one of us are big on Irish Food, so we went more for their sandwiches. I had the Cajun Chicken Sandwich with a Caesar Salad. The salad was $2.00 extra but well worth it. The serving was... read more

Cead Mille Failte ......a Hundred Thousand Welcomes. This gem of a pub and eatery has found a place in the hearts of the community. It's no wonder because it's owner hails from Ireland and a family of pub owners. Named for his mother, Derek would never let her down. That means great service, a friendly family atmosphere and plenty of... More

Always a great corned beef sandwich here, just the way you like it, and tater tots make it almost perfect. Choose the beer of your choice, enjoy the day outdoors on the patio or indoors. Very good service accompanies each visit as well. I'll be back!

After reviewing Peggy Kinnane's website, TripAdvisor and Yelp I decided to call for reservations, for seven family and friends, for a post- Arlington Park race dinner and drinks. In brief, this was easily the best decision of the day ( month )! Our high top table, requested, was ready and the service by Anthony was nothing short of outstanding! He... More

We didn't have to wait to be seated. Our waiter was very efficient and personable. We had a grilled cheese crab melt and a leinster burger with bacon, bleu cheese and caramelized onions. Both of the sandwiches were very good tasting. The mac and cheese was okay, but the fries were good.

Came with group of 20 were placed in separate area in back of restaurant. Perfect for our group to stand and mingle. Had a large TV to watch Blackhawks game. Service was great until our server had to check out. We totally understand his shift had to end. However, after his departure no one ever came back. We walked to... More

It was a Monday night and pretty quiet. I had a pizza and a pbr. Both were ok. Service was alright, nothing outstanding though. I imagine on a busy night it would be fun to interact a bit.

We have eaten here several times after seeing a play at the Metropolis Theater and have never been disappointed. I love their fish tacos but there are many other options available. Good for beer drinkers.

Nothing extraordinary about this place, but certainly a worthwhile choice if you're in this area. Loud, fun, decent bar fare, we neither neither blown away nor disappointed.

I hadn't been to Peggy Kinnane's for many a year and my memory was of an average joint with not so great Irish pub food. Not sure if my memory was just faulty or if they've changed dramatically but on a recent return visit for dinner, was quite pleasantly surprised at finding a wonderful establishment with many great food choices...
