Today I had lunch in the Mitsuwa Market food court.Mitsuwa is a large Asian food market with a food court. The food court has a collection of fast food restaurants that serve Sushi, Japanese soups and Chinese dishes. I had a Miso soup with pork. The soup contained slices of pork cheek (the tastiest part of the pig) and noodles... More

I've come here all the time, mostly to eat in the food court. Good selection of noodle restaurants (ramen, soba, udon, etc.) plus other pan-asian restaurants and a burger (Gabutto burger) joint. The restaurants change over the years. Food store specializes in Japanese and asian items, there is a video shop, liquor store, Kinokunia book store (apparently a chain), gift... More

Since Mitsuwa is the only Japanese market with it's own food court that I've found, I'd say it's Subarashii (wonderful). I go to Mitsuwa 3 or 4 times a year to stock up on loose leaf green tea. While I'm there I always stay for lunch in the food court and dessert from the bakery. I have never had a... More

Visit Mitsuwa for insight into Asian food. lots to look at and the ability to find any ingredients you may need for any Asian recipe. Marvel at all the different items, many imported from Canada, in the produce section. Look at the many soy sauces. try to figure out all the seasonings and exotic items. Look at the refrigerated noodles!... More

I discovered this place when I was still in high school and return there regularly ever since then! Mitsuwa is a rather large shop/indoor marketplace that houses quite a few restaurants and cafes as well as a bookstore, bakery, ceramics shop, liqueur store and of course a very large grocery store type area. The prices are quite good and the... More

This is essentially a combination market and restaurant. A rather large Oriental market with just about anything you can think of as well as two sit down/take out restaurants and a small liqour store with many types of Sake and Beer.

Went with a group of about 9 people. About 4 of them had to wait 45 minutes for food. No one in the group liked their food. It tasted blah to horrible! The worst part was seeing cockroachs. No joke it was disgusting. Even if the food was amazing I would never go back!!!

Try the Japanese ramen and it's yummy. However, the waiting time is very long since it's the popular dish in there.
