Everything Asian and so much more! When you go to the food court (and you need to go) make sure to bring cash! (I don't know why no credit cards, just cash) Food is so good and fresh! The market is wonderful and full of things you never thought existed! Plan a trip out to here you won't be sorry!

The best sushi around. Cheaper than other places, always fresh. We've been coming here for over 10 years and the quality was always great !

The store has anything Japanese you could want. Packaged, imported, fresh, even a bakery. Fresh made sushi and a food court. The best hot miso ramen. Now has burgers with wasabi. Even fresh made ice cream and green tea soft serve. This is an awesome experience. Most places are cash only and made to eat in so no take out.... More

Not a restaurant. Mitsuwa Marketplace should be listed under attractions. I live in Bloomington Indiana, which has multiple Japanese restaurants and Asian markets, but I still drive 4 hours to this place. Why? Because I miss living in Japan and I like to go places that remind me of my second home (I lived in Saitama and Tokyo for almost... More

Came here for ramen and some green tea kit-kats but ended up with ramen (from Santouka) and green tea/black sesame ice cream . The ramen is great but the rest of the market is rather crowded and can get quite annoying. Just be prepared to navigate the crowds from the moment you walk in.

This place is disgusting. A cockroach fell from the ceiling right in front of one of the restaurant I just ordered food from. I am confused by the good reviews. I went with about four other people. Not one person liked the food. Trust me, it sounds like a cool place, but it is gross.

It hurts me to write this review because I had been looking forward to a Saturday exploring the Mitsuwa Marketplace for months. After all the build up, it still bothers me that I left feeling so disappointed. The store is not very clean and is very run down. If this were a regular grocery chain, I would never shop there.... I'm part Japanese so my family and I have been going here for years (even back when it was called Yaohan). I love doing my shopping there. They have Japanese groceries and appliances there. You can also buy Japanese liquor there. There's a Japanese bookstore, porcelain shop, travel agency, sushi station, cafe, and bakery there as well! There's also a... More

Although the cafeteria is CASH ONLY, I highly recommend this Japanese grocery store. Ikura, nameko, ramen, oshinko, meiji chocolate are among the top buys in this store (on a personal reference level). They even have a cute bakery with japanese baked bread and cakes! Cakes range around $3 per slice, but they have very good portions. I would recommend the... More
