The Sutadonya has Ceramic images of each of their food items. The sure are colorful and appealing. Unfortunately, what you actually get looks nothing like the Ceramic image or the color photo. When they called my number and I was presented with my food I had to ask if that truly was mine. I was assured it was. I stated... More

The eatery was excellent with several varieties of Asian food. Ramen to tonkatsu can be found. All high quality just like in Japan. The market place is great with the freshest fish for sashimi and baked goods for dessert. Yummy!

This Mitsuwa has a good food court, video shop, and the Kinokuniya bookstore is excellent as always. The market has great produce and Japanese grocery items. The highlight though is the bakery inside (Pastry House Hippo) -- absolutely equal to a bakery in Japan. I especially recommend the custard/pudding, the curry stuffed bread, and cornets. Absolutely delicious!

This place has an excellent Japanese/Asian market a food court with a variety of Japanese, Korean, and Chinese food, as well as a bookstore and a wine shop that specializes in wine/liquor/beer from Asia. Many of the stuff they sell here cannot be found in a smaller Asian market. It is conveniently located close to O'Hare airport, so we come... More

The fish and other meats are fresh. Many hard to find Japanese foods available. Very crowded on weekends, though. We have been going to this store for several years and it has changed a lot through the years. There is no travel agency, no book store, and less food court choices with some as "cash only." The main grocery store... More

So many thing here that you don't find just everywhere. Mostly it's Japanese groceries--interesting fruits and veggies, different cuts of meats, sushi grade seafood. Interestingly, though, it's a mall, so there is a separate bakery, a book store (Japanese merchandise), there are chop sticks, bowls and things like that, and then there is the food court, with lots and lots... This is a great place to go for Asian food! I use the grocery there often to buy Asian foods that I cannot find in a regular grocery. I also buy their carry out sushi to take home. It's good quality and a lot less expensive than going to a restaurant. I have also eaten in the food court inside... More

Have been going here all my life and still visit a couple times a month! If you are visiting the area, don't miss out! Mitsuwa has a great collection of Japanese groceries that are hard to find anywhere else. They have a wide variety of drinks and snacks as well as fresh ingredients for making your Japanese favorites! They also... More

Very busy at lunchtime, you will wait, cash only. Good tasting authentic food, great variety bubble teas, I love the bookstore, my son loves the grocery store.
