Great Food Court

This is still one of our favorite places for lunch or a light dinner. There's great Japanese, Chinese and Korean food at very reasonable prices. It can get very busy at times and you may have trouble finding a table. I like the spicy pork from Ma Ma House but sometimes it's very hot, be careful!

I went to Mitsuwa with my elder parents with high expectations. We were very hungry and looking forward to having Japanese food. We left very disappointment! The restaurants in the food court are CASH ONLY. The book store in the mall has an ATM, NO CASH available. The grocery store DOES NOT have cash back options after making purchase. My... More

The ready made sushi in the cooler was great! It has good sit down cafeteria style restaurant too. Don't know Japanese? Not a problem. Know Japanese? Great, you'll feel at home.

My nieces grew up on Okinawa.., they were so delighted to see all of their Japanese favorites in one store! I love to take them there for nostalgic treats!

The Sutadonya has Ceramic images of each of their food items. The sure are colorful and appealing. Unfortunately, what you actually get looks nothing like the Ceramic image or the color photo. When they called my number and I was presented with my food I had to ask if that truly was mine. I was assured it was. I stated... More

We were staying at the nearby Marriot Courtyard and discovered this place while out walking. It is an amazing place! An unbelievably huge assortment of Asian foods - the first time I've EVER seen Kobe Beef in a grocery store! There is also a nice area where you can enjoy a quick bite or a nice meal; a bookstore and... More

The eatery was excellent with several varieties of Asian food. Ramen to tonkatsu can be found. All high quality just like in Japan. The market place is great with the freshest fish for sashimi and baked goods for dessert. Yummy!

This Mitsuwa has a good food court, video shop, and the Kinokuniya bookstore is excellent as always. The market has great produce and Japanese grocery items. The highlight though is the bakery inside (Pastry House Hippo) -- absolutely equal to a bakery in Japan. I especially recommend the custard/pudding, the curry stuffed bread, and cornets. Absolutely delicious!

This place has an excellent Japanese/Asian market a food court with a variety of Japanese, Korean, and Chinese food, as well as a bookstore and a wine shop that specializes in wine/liquor/beer from Asia. Many of the stuff they sell here cannot be found in a smaller Asian market. It is conveniently located close to O'Hare airport, so we come... More

The fish and other meats are fresh. Many hard to find Japanese foods available. Very crowded on weekends, though. We have been going to this store for several years and it has changed a lot through the years. There is no travel agency, no book store, and less food court choices with some as "cash only." The main grocery store... More
