Ate at three Korean restaurants three nights in a row in Arlington Heights area near Chicago ORD. Nikko Sushi was by far the best. For one, it is a Korean menu combined with a great sushi menu. Portions are smaller, and prices higher, but quality is outstanding and service is excellent. Very delicious food. I will return for sure!

This little neighborhood gem is a perfect place to go for a romantic dinner or to go drinking with your pals. Being open till 2am and serving food until 1:30am, makes it a great place to go at the end of the night for some sake and a few pieces of sushi. Every time I go I make sure to... More

It's no secret, if you see a bunch of locals eating their homeland food most chances you can't go wrong joining them. Which was exactly the case with this place. 80% Koreans and couple of whitees self included. So, common mistake by some reviewers of this place: it's Korean, not Japanese. Which makes it far more daring. Fabulous selection of... More

I am traveling for business by myself and looked for a sushi place nearby. I am beyond happy I found this place. When you walk in you are greeted by everyone in the place. I ordered the gyoza(steamed) and a special flaming roll. They started by bringing me edamame and a salad, that I didn't even order. When my food... More

The food was great but the wait for my lunch was too long. This restaurant has Sushi and other Japanese dishes.

I discovered this place with my mum quite a few years ago and though it is quite far from where we live, we try to go there at least a few times whenever I'm back in Chicago. This is one of the best Japanese/Korean restaurants I've ever been at and some of the best sushi I've ever tasted. The food... More

I was very impressed with the food AND the service. Most sushi restaurants are not very quick however when I told the waitress we needed to be done in 30 minutes she was right on it. Everyone in my family enjoyed their meal and we were out in 30 minutes. Highly recommend this place!

I was looking for a place to eat after renting a car and driving from O'Hare to my hotel. The first place I tried was closed, so searched for this place around the corner from the hotel. It is a Korean-Japanese restaurant and I ordered a few Sushi rolls. Staff was very friendly and I received several freebies on the... More

Went here for the first time with a friend. Our timing was perfect because a table had just freed up; people behind us waited. Sushi/Sashimi quality was ok, but imaginative sushi dishes were very good.

On a business trip to Chicago, I searched for Sushi restaurants near O'hare airport. Nikko came up with good reviews. So we took a 15 taxi ride to visit them. I thought it was interesting that there was a shelf at the entrance with hundreds of small boxes with names on them containing the private chopsticks of regulars. The Devore... More
