Son's Graduation Dinner

Wife and I were in town for our sons graduation from Robert Morris University and we're advised by our Hotel Clerk to try Nikko if we wanted good Sushi. There were 10 of us in all. Some creative options for sushi rolls, especially loved the white dragon and red dragon rolls. Nigirizushi was also very good, and generally of high quality. The fatty toro came with gold flakes on top for a nice presentation, but the texture seemed slightly 'off.' (see photo) The environment is casual. Would definitely go again.

The sushi menu had various options and the chef provided some samples including dessert. The atmosphere was nice even if dining alone.

Ate at three Korean restaurants three nights in a row in Arlington Heights area near Chicago ORD. Nikko Sushi was by far the best. For one, it is a Korean menu combined with a great sushi menu. Portions are smaller, and prices higher, but quality is outstanding and service is excellent. Very delicious food. I will return for sure!

This little neighborhood gem is a perfect place to go for a romantic dinner or to go drinking with your pals. Being open till 2am and serving food until 1:30am, makes it a great place to go at the end of the night for some sake and a few pieces of sushi. Every time I go I make sure to... More

It's no secret, if you see a bunch of locals eating their homeland food most chances you can't go wrong joining them. Which was exactly the case with this place. 80% Koreans and couple of whitees self included. So, common mistake by some reviewers of this place: it's Korean, not Japanese. Which makes it far more daring. Fabulous selection of... More

I am traveling for business by myself and looked for a sushi place nearby. I am beyond happy I found this place. When you walk in you are greeted by everyone in the place. I ordered the gyoza(steamed) and a special flaming roll. They started by bringing me edamame and a salad, that I didn't even order. When my food... More

I discovered this place with my mum quite a few years ago and though it is quite far from where we live, we try to go there at least a few times whenever I'm back in Chicago. This is one of the best Japanese/Korean restaurants I've ever been at and some of the best sushi I've ever tasted. The food... More

I was very impressed with the food AND the service. Most sushi restaurants are not very quick however when I told the waitress we needed to be done in 30 minutes she was right on it. Everyone in my family enjoyed their meal and we were out in 30 minutes. Highly recommend this place!
