I'm one to review, rarely if ever to "rave". Egg Harbor gets a "rave". This is as good as breakfast gets. In some ways it is a typical breakfast place - busy with a line out the door on weekend mornings, a little loud, loaded with families coming from church and eggs fly out of the kitchen. The menu, however,... More

For a gluten free diner, this is a great place for breakfast. They have many options that are all delicious. Notably, their cinnamon rolls are terrific! The cheesy grits are spicey and moist, if not a bit too cheesy for me. The service is always attentive and pleasant. I think the employees like working here, which is a good indication... More

Egg Harbor Cafe is a great place for breakfast. It gets busy and they handle the volume as well as you can imagine. The food is really good quality. I don't think you can go wrong with any choice. Go early if you don't want to wait, or try and hit the "after breakfast but not yet lunch" lull. Good... More

The Egg Harbor restaurant has been a consistent high quality breakfast/lunch option in Arlington Heights for over 10 years. We enjoy the variety of the menu and every choice is outstanding. You get a quality entree with many lunch and breakfast options. My husband loves the Sir Duggan and they have many healthy options.

One of the new style of breakfast restaurants... high quality food that has never disappointed. This is not your old fashioned diner, Egg Harbor does strive to make food that not only tastes good, but is relatively healthy. I have never had a dish there dripping with grease or butter. They constantly are changing the menu to provide new items... More

This is one of the better places in Arlington Heights for breakfast... food is very good as is the service. It is a bit pricey but it is worth it... coffee is excellent. It can get a little noisy but its still worth the visit.

The setting is perfect for breakfast and lunch. Food is delicious. The Door County Sandwich is my favorite for lunch. Whenever my sisters are in town, we must have lunch at Egg Harbor in Arlington Heights.

Was there this Sunday as always awesome food and great service. Nothing to complain about. The price is a bit high but you get what you pay for. The coffee is good too!!! Oh and if you don't finish the pot you get to take the rest home with you!! Very cool!! I think that goes for all there drinks.

Hubby and I go every wkend, usually both days if we can. Not only are the set menu items excellent, the kitchen can accommodate any/all tweaking. Also, if they have the ingredients, they will do their best to "free-style" what you want.

I grew up in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago and this was always my number one breakfast restaurant. Fresh & hearty breakfasts at a reasonable price. Friendly, professional service. Nicely decorated. A bit more of an "upbeat" crowd. One of the few places I always try to hit when I return to visit family.
