Great Dinner Experience

My fiancé and I had dinner here on a Tuesday night so it wasn't overly crowded. There is definitely an older crowd but that's not something that I mind. I had the filet mignon with potatoes which was great! The goat cheese appetizer was also very tasty! The wait staff was very attentive and we... read more

Old time supper club atmosphere .Linen tablecloths and napkins. Fine with me. Great reasonable cocktails even better above average food. Dinner was at a good price point including soup or salad, veggie, potato, or rice. Service was good. Had very fresh raw oysters. The prime rib was a very generous even got a rib bone cut. The veal Oscar was... More

As soon as we walked in, our teenage children said "Mom, it looks like the cruise!" Decoration, and dining area looked like we were on a ship. We stopped in for dinner before a concert in the area. We did not make a reservation anywhere and were looking a nice place for a nice meal. We are glad we did!... More

This restaurant is a classy one, the ambient is above the average. The service is also good, and so the food. Based on my experience, I do not classifye it as a gastronomic restaurant, it is a little above average in the presentation ambiant and settings. I can recomend if you want to invite someone for a business dinner, and make... More

Looking for a place with predictably good food, expansive bar drinks and wine list that is not too hard on the budget? Definitely try Palm Court. Look past the outdated décor and try to get a table in the front section. European wait staff that is very well trained. We have been there several times and while service was lagging... More

The Palm always delivers on great food. My wife had the Tournedos of Filet Mignon with artichoke bottoms and bearnaise sauce*; served with wild rice - she loved it, perfectly cooked with tons of flavor. I had the Ribeye Steak special with onion rings, baked potato and broccoli mix - steak was well seasoned and prepared exactly as I had... More

Have always enjoyed Palm Court for a reliable and upscale night out. However, we recently were looking for a quiet, private restaurant room for a family gathering. The Palm Court filled that bill perfectly with great food, great service, and a room that was just beautiful for the occasion. Great for special birthdays, anniversaries or even funeral luncheons. This is... More

Palm Court is a place my parents would've gone to in the 60's. Great martinis, manhattans, old-fashions, whiskey sours, etc., all to enjoy at the piano bar. After your cocktail, get seated for some of the best food you've ever eaten!

Palm Court has been the mainstay of pre-prom diners and Saturday night standing reservations for more than 30 years and she never disappoints. One of the few family-owned, 'white tablecloth' restaurants left in the northwest suburbs. The cashew crusted halibut is fresh and flakey. The Melt-in-your-mouth filet is always cooked to perfection. Love the tornadoes of filet with artichokes and... More

The prime rib and fish are solid. As are their salads. Service is always good. It is quiet and friendly. Plenty of parking. crowed tends to be a little older. I make a point of going every 3 to 4 months when i'm looking for a little more upscale dining. though it is always a good value.
