This has been a good Tapas place for years but everything, including the menu has been the same as it has been for over 10 years. It is expensive but a fun experience. Just add some new and different selections.

We were invited for a rehearsal dinner for a wedding. This place is fun. We had the full tapas meal with refills of sangria. I can't remember most of the dishes. The best was potato salad. I do not like octopus. Of course there are lots of things in between that were good. Sensible thing -- speech time the music... More

We had a family dinner at La Tasca. Easy to find, park and the indoor looks fine. We are not picky but we had a poor experience here with the food we ordered. We had 4 cold tapas that were average. Nothing fancy. The issue was about the hot tapas. Our pulp was way too grilled, shrimp were very fishy... More

We went one evening after attending a wine tasting-so we weren't up for drinking more although the sangria sounded good! Another couple, my husband and I shared several small dishes. I especially liked the eggplant dish and fish dishes. A friend had the veggie platter with a nice selection and my husband and friend shared calamari that they raved over.... More

Excellent tapas choices. Love the patatas bravas, bacon wrapped dates, shrimp, and pork tenderloin tapas. I also love their paella. Had a party there and got to taste much of the menu - yum! Great atmosphere; right across from the Metra station so it's a great meeting place for friends in the Northwest Suburbs. Their food is quite authentic. I... More

We went with friends and family. Total party size was 7. Lets get on with it. Atmosphere - This place does not change much. It is what it is and what you would expect from a Tapas place. I find it funny how busy this place gets during the dinner rush but it almost always quickly dies down as if... More

Early dinner at one of the nicer places in Arl. Hts. The food has always been consistently above average and this visit was no exception. Grilled octopus with paprika was tasty. Stuffed mushrooms came out hot. The Red pitcher of sangria consisted of more ice than wine and not quite the richness I would hope for. The waiter was a... More

We went there a Saturday night and were seated in the back room, which was filled to capacity. The noise was overpowering, it was next to impossible to carry on a conversation. The noise level detracted from the overall experience, and, frankly, the food wasn't all that great. My daughter and I ordered tapas, and my husband had the salmon.... More

La Tasca is a great tapas restaurant in the NW suburbs of Chicago. It also has Argentinian tango each month. Food, service, and atmosphere are great.

Very creative uses of Spanish ingredients. There is something here for everyone. The Sangria is made fresh in large barrels; no one will tell me the recipe. Our favorite dishes are the Baked Goat Cheese, Baby Lamb Chops, Cold Tuna Salad in a Pasta Tube, and the Bacon wrapped Dates with Spicy Red Pepper Sauce. La Tasca is consistent in... More
