My mom told me about this restaurant, so we though we would give it a try. Friendly staff, who was willing to help you with any questions you had. Had a great bottle of wine which was inexpensive. Food was terrific. I had pasta and my girlfriend had chicken. Both were done just right. Will definitely be going back weekly!

A week ago, my wife and I went with another couple for dinner at Toscana's in Arlington Heights. I had Puttanesca Pasta. The pasta tasted very "chalky" and clumped together. Not at all a good meal. Then this past weekend, we again went to Toscana's with a group of neighbors. (This outing was planned well before my experience described in... More

We had a reservation for 5. The restaurant was extremely busy, every table taken. They brought 4 wooden chairs to the table, and a young man then brought a flimsy plastic folding chair for the 5th. I asked if that was all he had, he shrugged, and an adult brought another wooden chair. Not an auspicious start. We started with... More

Visited on Labor Day with a buy one dinner get one free coupon we just happened upon from the newspaper. We arrived at 5:15 to find a busy restaurant, 2 tables were available and we were seated immediately. Bread (delicious) delivered and water glasses filled within seconds. We were promptly greeted by our friendly server and each ordered a glass... More

While it is nice to see a non-chain restaurant doing well, I cannot endorse this place. First, the restaurant was very loud. I had to shout at my dinner companion, and even then was not always heard. Our server was very nice and friendly. Food came out really fast; not sure if this is a plus or minus. I had... More

Looking at this place from the outside, we had no idea what to expect, save the advice from the fabulous Trip Advisor reviews. BUT WOW! We walked in, sooo charming, murals and lovely tables. Loud, but lovely! The food was generously portioned on HUGE lovely dinnerware. Great wine selection, amazing Chicken Limon and seafood rissotto. (A bit pricey but worth... More

Must try the Calamari Toscana- Best calamari I have ever had. Olive oil, garlic, and crushed red pepper. Yum! The prices are extremely reasonable for the quality!

We've always loved Toscana, but our latest visit left us very disappointed. The staff was indifferent, portions skimpy, and the food not nearly as good as it's been in the past. Hopefully this visit was an anomaly, but if the next one is just as mediocre, we'll be done.

Great food and charming little spot, bustling with happy diners and competent professional cheerful wait staff. Entree selections are diverse including many preparations a veal, pasta, as well as fish. Pepper steak is very good, the potatoes are perfection. Yum! When do we go again?

Every time I come home to Arlington Heights, stopping for a meal at Toscana is a must! If you like Italian food, don't skip this charming restaurant. The staff and service make the meal (which is consistently delicious) even more enjoyable. Toscana offers a good value for your money. I can't say enough good things about it!
