If you are reading this review, take a minute to out me on pause for a minute. Call TTOWA now and make a reservation! You must get in for dinner at the downtown Arlington Heights gem! TTOWA is out of this world. The service is fantastic and food is phenomenal. The owner makes his way to almost every table, every... More

Couldn't ask for a better dining experience. Decided to try this restaurant and went with my 2 children. Upon entering we were greeted in a very friendly manner and promptly seated. Atmosphere is clean, cozy and inviting. Our waiter made several suggestions which we ordered and were not disappointed. The wings were outstanding, best I have ever had. The rice... More

I can't believe I haven't made my review of this restaurant on TA yet because we've been there a few times. I have to thank a friend of mine who lives in Arlington Heights and told us about this place. Let me just say that I've been to many Korean restaurants, and this is by far the best one I've... More

Super friendly server, didnt rush us. Food came quick and tasty. Just a note the food seems Korean-Americanized - yet it is still tasty. Got the Chicken Kalbi and the flavor reminded me of homemade Filipino bbq with a slight twist of spice. YUM!! Also got the sweet wine and that was definitely tasty as well! A couple items were... Everything is fantastic. Just like everyone said. First time here get the bulgogi is amazing. And the grilled short ribs are awesome. Go for the tofu seafood soup! Even the service is fast, efficient and quality personality. I'll be back!

Ordered the Bulgogi and Bibimpa. Was expecting to love the bulgogi much more, the bibimpa was a back up 2nd dish that we were sharing family style. We got the bulgogi grilled, came with some type of mashed rice goop with the meat in the center of the dish. The bibimpa turned out to be the best choice of the... More

Four of us got together for a change of pace "Girls Nite Out". Delicious Korean! The best thing we did was let our server make suggestions for both the starters and entrees. Several of the appetizers recommended didn't sound as good as they tasted--who wants a rice appetizer? Well, now we all want them! Short ribs were great as well... More

Prompt and friendly service. Food is great, try some of the OB beer too! If you take out instead of eating in, the food is equally well made.

Went with a Korean friend who said they are similar to dumplings at home. Quite a variety! Cute little place with very friendly owners. If you want to try Korean Dumplings, this is a good place to start.

Ttowa (pronounced DOH-wa) is a lovely place to eat. One block from the train station on a side street, it's offers attractive decor and excellent service at a reasonable price. The menu is small, but the portions are ample and presented nicely. It being my first time, I asked for a suggestion. Sam Gyup Sal, I was told, was a... More
