Mole at its best

Mago has wonderful Mexican food. However it's their Mole that sets them apart. They have 6 or 7 Moles on the menu, as well as a mole special each month. they run from sweet to potent. I have eaten here many times, and can't get enough of it. their Chile Relleno's are amazing, as is their special... read more

We have eaten at the location in S. Barrington. While this location is a bit smaller, the good U.S. Just as good. We started with fresh made Guacamole. Seasoned just perfectly for my wife. The entrees come with soup, and it was excellent. For entrees my wife had the Cheese Quesadillas and I had three Tacos (2 Chorizo and 1... More

Mago is by far our favorite Mexican place! The atmosphere is great, service is usually good, and the food is amazing! Our favorite is the Mago style fajitas. It comes in a stone pot and is bubbling in a delicious red sauce with cheese on top. Also, they bring you 3 salsas when you arrive and they are all soooo... More

A very nice venue with better than average Mexican food. A bit pricy but less frantic than most Mex.

We had a birthday party there for my so -in-law who loves Mexican cuisine. We all enjoyed our selections and the guacamole made at the table was fabulous. The drinks are also excellent. It is a bit pricey but worth it.

The food I ordered was very good. Luckily the person I was dining with had a good knowledge of latin types of food. I had little help from the server navigating the menu. The menu is not typical Latin, it is a mixture and has different pages for family style etc. When I would ask a question I would get... More

Glad to see this establishment has an outdoor patio now. Ceviche is good. Salsas are good. Drinks are good. However, I've ordered fish here multiple times and I will never do it again. I don't think their fish is fresh. Dining room is small but comfortable.

For once we went to a restaurant where the service was better than the food. I really thought the waiter did a great job describing the menu and recommending dishes. But the food was very mediocre. We ordered the made-to-order guacamole and asked them to leave out tomatoes and onions. We also wanted it to be medium spicy. The tomatoes... More

This was the 2nd time going to Mago Grill in Arlington heights. Though the food and drinks were good there sound was unbearably aloud. We went on a Thursday night and my husband and I could not hear each other AT ALL. In spite of good food we will not go back

Second time to this restaurant and the food keeps bringing me back. I like that there is a parking garage near by, within walking distance of the restaurant. I met friends for food and drinks and everyone was happy with their food. Service got to be a little slow at first, but it seemed to get packed quite quickly. Once... More
