If they had conch fritters, I would be just like being in the Florida Keys

Love the place. It is almost like Florida, all it is missing....Conch Fritters. Port of Blarney is the gateway to Blarney Island a bar in the middle of Grass lake. At Blarney Island, you have bands playing, food, beer and a great atmosphere. It is a great place to just hang out. You take a... read more

Port of Blarney (Bar/grill) is just one piece of the adventure, which then leads you to Blarney Island a bar in the middle of the Grass Lake via boat shuttle from the Port of Blarney. Which is about a 25 to 20 minute boat ride. Very Cool...food prices are what you would expect, drinks are a little pricey. But the... More

If you are looking for good music, people-watching a lots of fun, then this is the place to be. The boat races are our favorite, but the weekends are just as fun. Day and night are very different - no under 21 after 7pm. Lots of theme parties and dancing. What's not to like? The new addition is great but... More

The Port of Blarney restaurant is a nice place. They do have somewhat of a pricey menu though I thought. I had a burger sandwich that had corned beef and swiss cheese on top of a burger patty w/ thousand island dressing. It came with fries, chips, or tots with like a shot of coleslaw. It costed me $11.99, and... More

This is where the boat leaves to take passengers to Blarney Island. The boat ride to the Island is fun. To get to the island, if you don't have your own boat, there is a shuttle service that varies in price depending on the day or event that runs every hour. But the ferrys only come every half hour, and... More

An island in the middle of a very large lake. The lake is connected to several other lakes called the Chain O'Lakes. It is open in the summer. I believe they still have boat races. I recommend taking the ferry from Port of Blarney. There are a lot of drunks in their boats and it can get crazy out there.... More

We started with burgers and beers at the Port and then took the barge and had a great time out on the Island. How can't you have a good time when you have the girlies in bikinis and a band blasting you senseless. Thats what the Port of Blarney and the Isle are all about. If you don't have a... More
