Stayed over night in Alton and ate here twice. We had cheeseburgers and steak fries the first stop the chicken stripes and tenderloin. The red cream soda was amazing.

Never having been to Alton read the reviews and decided our family of 6 should eat here. First of all the service was very slow. The seating is very limited. The sign said 99 cent for a gallon or root beer on orders over $20. Our order was close to $50 and when I asked for the root beer the... More

Those mini burgers like A&W used to have. Not White Castle meat substitute but real beef, Sometimes they just hit the spot.

Our family decided to drive to the area to see the tallest man statue and the lock and dam. We stopped here for lunch. Although the place is very small inside (7 small tables) this was a good choice. We had half pound flame broiled burgers, chicken tenders, breaded mushrooms, broccoli bites, funnel cakes, and homemade root beer. Everything was... More

I love this restaurant. They are kind of a knock off to White Castle but with better food. They sell sliders with beef or chicken and they are very delicious. If you throw in some fried mushrooms or French fries or perhaps a steak dinner with a glass of home made root beer your meal will be complete

We eat here at least once a month! We do carry out, never ate in. 1/2 pound burger is the best! Tastes homemade right off the grill! The broccoli cheese tots are amazing and the stuffed jeaopenos are great too. Can't best the prices!!!

We were going to be in the area, so I searched out a restaurant online and found this place. There were two adults and three teens... we all agreed these were the best burgers we have ever eaten. We all ordered something different, along with side orders, and a gallon of homemade rootbeer. The rootbeer was incredible. The kids were... More

We were in Alton this weekend and wanted something cheap and delicious. Mini Corral Hamburgers was above and beyond our expectations. They make their own Root Beer. It was delicious. According to my husband it had a "nice caramelly finish". Indeed! I had the Half Pound Burger with cheese, tomato, lettuce and onion with a side of the broccoli cheese... More

First visit to this restaurant passing through Alton on way to son's baseball game. Called ahead for takeout. Ordered 1/2 pound burger for myself and catfish sandwich for my wife. Both were fantastic! Appeared that locals mostly did takeout. I spoke with two of them. One 20-something said he and his buds come 3-4 times per week. Other elderly lady... More
