A local enthusiastically recommended this place for a carryout pizza, as there were no pizza places where we were staying about ten miles away. Took about 15 minutes for a thin-crust 16" pizza, pretty tasty, $14.95 for ours with toppings requested. Friendly service in this family-owned restaurant. Recommend you use the parking lot on the south side of the building.... More

What a great surprise! I was invited to join some family members at Princivalli's. It was my first visit. The exterior, and interior for that matter, are plain. The food is plain good. The service was friendly and efficient. The menu offers an interesting variety of Italian dishes - some vegetarian. The beer and wine selections are modest, but appropriate... More

This is a great little place for great salads and pasta. There salads are always fresh and crispy. I love their meatballs. They have great pizza too. We have eaten lunch there mostly but have had dinner there a few times. The service is good and efficient. The atmosphere is comfortable.

Just off of the Clark Bridge & across from St.Mary's church, Princivalli's Cafe is a great place for a casual lunch or dinner. A nice view of the Mississippi River enhances the experience where the food is always fresh, home-made & excellent. Available is St.Louis style pizza & subs plus a variety of tasty Italian dishes & wonderfully fresh salads,... More

Princivalli's is a very good Italian restaurant in Alton. I have ate there on many occasions and have never had a bad meal. The staff is very nice and helpful. I was there a few days ago and had delicious baked lasagna. My only complaint is that overall they are very slow. It usually takes a half hour after you... More

Had the pizza and would highly recommend if you like thin crust pizza. Even just plain cheese pizza fast great....almost like the sauce was homemade?

The house salad dressing is very good! Our waitress was very sweet! The pizza was excellent as well! We hope to come back through and stop here again. It's right off the river too- very cool!

This Italian cafe if one of my favorite places to dine at when i am visiting Alton. The pizza special is very good. Thin crust pizza with 2 toppings and a side salad and drink for under $10.00. Pleasant atmosphere and just a couple of blocks up from the River. I certainly recommend visiting this restaurant when in Alton.

My husband and I love this restaurant. They have something for everyone. The thin crust pizza is my favorite. Staff very friendly. We go there 2-3 times per month.
