The food is very reasonable. We each got their 1/2 pound hamburger & it was really big for only $1.99. The French fries were only $1 & their were a lot. We also got some shrimp for 29 cents each. They were not as big as I thought they would be. We sat outside & even as hot as it... More

Plan a stop if you are in the St. Louis Metro area. The experience is unique, and you must be prepared ahead of time or it will frustrate you. Order of events: Enter establishment, get in line to order food (simple choices, very cheap), pay for food (cash only), get ticket with number, find table (inside or out), give drink... More

Went there on a Sunday afternoon, just after 12 PM. Peel and eat shrimp (big ones) are .29 cents each, 1/3 lb. (might be 1/2 lb) are only $1.99. Coors light draft served in a 16 oz. cold glass is only $2.75. Brats, kebobs and fries too. No credit cards and you pay by cash each time (no running a... More

So this is a glorified bar to be honest. The drinks are priced relatively well and the food prices are very low. Our waitress was very pushy for us to order more alcohol. The we got the big Elwood, hot chick on a stick, a burger, and fries. The big Elwood was way better than the chicken. The fries were... More

Someone recommended this place as a must, and it has been featured on TV. So while recently in the St. Louis area, we drove across the river to check it out. It was a very large bar, somewhat chaotic. There is a limited menu, with reasonable prices. The beer was cold, as advertised. Cash only. There was a mix of... More

This place is a fun place to go. When you walk in the door you can step right in the food line, get yourself some great .29 cent shrimp as your appetizer while you wait for your food. Don't let the long line scare you they are very fast to get your food to you. The whole menu is awesome... More

I have been drinking and dining at this establishment for decades. Peel and eat shrimp larger and cleaner than most higher end seafood spots. The old 1/2 pound $.99 burger is now $1.99 yet the local box grocery wants $6.99/pound for 70/30 ground chuck and this burger seems to be 80%+. This burger compares favorably to the Ruby Tuesday $10... More

Fast Eddie's is local, and it's fine. I've been there numerous times. If you're looking for a nightly party scene, it can definitely be the place. I like it better during the afternoon, as it's not as crowded and you're likely to get a waitress faster. The patio is the place to be...and if you go at night, try to... More

Every time we are in the St. Louis area, we make a point to go to Fast Eddies across the river in Alton, Illinois. The food is great, and for the first time had a redhot dog. Also had the burger, fries, a big elwood and peel and eat shrimp. atmosphere is just fun, music great, friendly staff. I hope... More

About a week or so ago a good friend and I decided to go to Fast Eddies for one last dinner together before he had to go back home to Europe. The staff was very pleasant as always and the service we received. Unfortunately what I found was that the chicken Kabob and Pork Kabob were way too salty. So... More
