Good food, excellent cheese cake!

My husband and I chose to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary here. The food was good, the staff pleasant, but we did find an ant on the table:(. Took a picture of it but felt like we didn't want to make a big deal about it. There has been flooding in that area and I know that ants are... read more

This is an upscale steakhouse not an Outback or something. You get topnotch service and excellent food. The Crack pepper steak is to die for. I think that's what it's called. The food is priced accordingly. It's worth it. The steaks you get at tones are much better than anywhere else for a reason.

Arriving at 7:30pm, we didn't get to depart until 10:30 pm, due to really SLOW service. Our steak arrived cold; the salmon on the salad was tough and old. Pricey and not good value!

The last two visits at Tony's I've only had pizza and it was very good. We ate at the bar. The service was very good, our glasses were never empty. The bartender Kayla was a very nice young lady who took good care of us.

For over 20 years I have visited Tony's and never have a been disappointed. The staff always know my name and bend over backwards to accommodate my needs. Lenard is very personable and great to talk too. Very down to earth.

My family has been coming here since the 50's. First, my parents and now, myself and kids! This place is one of the most consistent that I know. They DID just change the floor in the bathroom after about 50 years but the food and the service is always great! Can't say enough good and no, I'm not related or... More

I really like this place, I would definitely say that I am a regular here. I have a specific waiter that is awesome. His name is Colt. He is fast, sincere, accurate, and has a very pleasant attitude. If Colt isn't working, we don't stay. He strives to make things right. The only thing I got a little frustrated with... More

Good food, lots of nostalgia/history. Staff seemed taxed and service was just okay. Sat in the back dining room for large groups and the room was too loud to talk to one another. Steak was excellent though.

For our first anniversary dinner, my husband and I wanted to eat at a romantic Italian restaurant. A friend of ours who lives in Alton recommended Tony's. The food was very good, wine list was AWESOME!, service was excellent. We brought a special bottle of wine and called ahead to make sure we could enjoy it with our dinner. We... More
