Went to the Cajun as our second and last stop. Thank goodness if was a Friday, not too sure how many of my co-workers would have made it to work the next day. The music was lovely, loved the diversity of the music. We sang and danced almost the entire time we were there. I ended up taking the birthday... More

This place is so NEAT! The layout is very different and funky, bartenders were very nice! We didn't eat there, but they seemed to have quite a menu! The dueling piano musicians (along with their drummer) were awesome! We originally only stopped in for a quick drink and ended up staying a couple of hours b/c of how much fun... More

Looking for a place to eat in Alton, we went to the Ragin' Cajun on a Sunday. It was pretty quiet, but looks like the place might really hop on Fridays and Saturdays. The selection of beers was extensive, and the menu reasonably broad. The service was friendly, and the food quite good. Prices were reasonable. Overall a very good... More

A twist on the classic 'dueling piano bar', the twist being roughnecks and lads crowd the bar and make the place feel more like high school musical on methamphetamine.

Tried a dozen different appetizers, entrees, and deserts. They were all good. We made these choices with the assistance of Natalie. Great service and advice; make sure to ask for her if she is available. The dueling pianos were a plus.

We went to this restaurant because we had heard good things about it. We had so much fun. There was no piano playing the night we were there, but another table and our table got to laughing and joking and had so much fun. The service was great. The food was the best and a lot of it. We will... More

Horrible, bland food. Service ok until I got my check and was charged 20% gratuity for using a gift certificate and the waitress got snotty! We won't be back!!

I have been wanting to try this place for a couple of years now, but our first opportunity came this past Saturday. We were in town to do some geocaching and to take in some of the rich history of Alton. We came to Ragin Cajun at an off-time between lunch and dinner, so we didn't get to catch any... More

This is a very lively and fun piano bar on Friday and Saturday nights. I have spent a lot of time in New Orleans, and the Ragin Cajun really does capture the feel of Bourbon Street. The food is AMAZING! The pub steak is my personal favorite, always perfect. Finally, they have a potato choice, too!! The lobster bisque is... More

Food Was Good. Found IT Walking By. We Were Looking For A Pkace To Eat.heat Was A Premium. Feet Got Cold During Meal. Too Dark Too. Server Had To Lend Us A Flashlight To Read The Menu. Doubt We Will Go Back.
