Fun Place, With Awesome Bread Pudding

This is a great place to go for great piano music and vocals and the food is good as well. My favorite thing to order is the bread pudding. I can't stand bread pudding, but theirs is to die for. So I usually get a salad or an appetizer and then have the bread pudding. They also have great Long... read more

What a gem to find in Alton. We went in on a quiet Saturday afternoon. We had the following foods, we decided to share them all to get a taste of several things: Blackened Shrimp appetizer, Black & Blue Bayou Burger with Cajun Chips and White Chocolate Bread Pudding. All three were delicious and the menu is just full of... More

We had always enjoyed this restaurant, which is why we were so excited to eat there Saturday night for a friend's birthday. The piano player was fantastic, but even his fun humor wasn't enough after waiting two hours for our food. And having our waitress forget part of our order, failing to refill drinks, and snarling at us along the... More

Went to the Cajun as our second and last stop. Thank goodness if was a Friday, not too sure how many of my co-workers would have made it to work the next day. The music was lovely, loved the diversity of the music. We sang and danced almost the entire time we were there. I ended up taking the birthday... More

This place is so NEAT! The layout is very different and funky, bartenders were very nice! We didn't eat there, but they seemed to have quite a menu! The dueling piano musicians (along with their drummer) were awesome! We originally only stopped in for a quick drink and ended up staying a couple of hours b/c of how much fun... More

Looking for a place to eat in Alton, we went to the Ragin' Cajun on a Sunday. It was pretty quiet, but looks like the place might really hop on Fridays and Saturdays. The selection of beers was extensive, and the menu reasonably broad. The service was friendly, and the food quite good. Prices were reasonable. Overall a very good... More

A twist on the classic 'dueling piano bar', the twist being roughnecks and lads crowd the bar and make the place feel more like high school musical on methamphetamine.

Tried a dozen different appetizers, entrees, and deserts. They were all good. We made these choices with the assistance of Natalie. Great service and advice; make sure to ask for her if she is available. The dueling pianos were a plus.

We went to this restaurant because we had heard good things about it. We had so much fun. There was no piano playing the night we were there, but another table and our table got to laughing and joking and had so much fun. The service was great. The food was the best and a lot of it. We will... More

Horrible, bland food. Service ok until I got my check and was charged 20% gratuity for using a gift certificate and the waitress got snotty! We won't be back!!
