Cucina Bella USED to be one of our favorite restaurants in the area until our last visit a few weeks ago. We arrived around 6:30 without a reservation but were told 30-40 minutes. That was not a problem. Took a seat at the end of the bar (right next to the hostess station) and ordered a drink. 45 minutes went... More

This downtown Algonquin restaurant has great food, great service and reasonable prices. The food is made right there in their visible kitchen and every dish is handcrafted. Maggie the manager makes sure that each dining experience is awesome! Parking is on street only and don't come up 31 from the south during rush hour.

If you have not experienced this place, GO SOON!!! The food is so fresh and delicious. Service was excellent and 1/2 price bottles of wine on Thursday, it's a no brainer. Good for a date or the family!!

The food is very good to excellent, but the wait staff experience varies quite a bit. Our waiter, Christian, was knowledgable and steered us to some excellent choices. There seems to be a lot of staff, at least on weekends, but it can get busy and seems to overwhelm the kitchen, so don't wait to long to have your order... More

The food tasted great; the atmosphere was very nice. However, I need to be gluten free and although the menu stated the food was, I know it had to have some cross contamination as I was sick for 3 days. So if you don't have special dietary needs I would recommend it.

My boyfriend and I are constantly trying new places...cucina bella had very good reviews, so we thought why not try it out. I went to the restroom when we arrived and as I exited a server was coming towards me. I moved out of the way apologized and was given a dirty look. We waited over 5 min for drinks... More

Finally tried this place and have to say it was a mixed experience. Interior is nicely done maintaining some of the original stained glass work. Bartender was very friendly and quick. Ordered the stuffed mushrooms which were outstanding. Then came the brasiole over pasta. The meat was bone dry and stuffed with breadcrumbs, cheese and spice largely absent. It mashed... More

The name of this restaurant in itself brings many memories. Every December for the past 5 years, my father and I dress in our finest and enjoy a production of The Nutcracker. Following the ballet, we continue the date-night at Cucina Bella, where the ambiance contributes to the feeling of a special night. Though the menu has a wonderful Italian... More
