Be aware of any where you book your luau's we were over charged $ 74.00 by using a visa gift card, which smiths does not honor, then having to pay full price when we got there, check on line first discounts for the show is all over the place, food was ok, the entertainment fantastic. more

Authentic representation of the true "down home" Hawaii tradition. This family knows how to pack in all the wonderful symbolism and tastes of the Hawaiian culture that I was looking for. They have the timing perfect! They are very organized, friendly and genuine. The sea shell lei placed around our necks upon arrival is a wonderful keepsake. The professional 8X10... more

This luau was highly recommended by our guidebook and since this was our first trip to Hawaii, we wanted to try a luau. Not only was the food great, but we had a really good time. The gates opened at 5 and during 5 to 5:30 you can take a tram ride of the beautiful manicured gardens. At 6:00, they... more

this was a very well organized luau and the food was plentiful and delicious. The grounds that are open before the luau are worth exploring and on a sunny day it is a nice way to spend time before dinner. They give you a brief tram tour to introduce the area then you can walk around on your own. There... more

We went to this luau last night and it was really worth the regular price of $78 per person. . The Teriyaki beef is amazing and so are the tiny red strawberry guava's. The look like a tiny pomegranite but you eat them whole. The entertainment is great, though we were getting tired by the end of the show. So... more

We've been here before and have always been pleased. The grounds are beautiful, the peacocks like to show their stuff, and the family business seems to be thriving. As a person who my friends describe as "cheap", I will say that spending $65 per person (after the discount) isn't my favorite thing to do. But anyone who goes to Hawaii... more

We went to this luau in 2006. We thought it was fantastic. We didn't arrive early, but I wish we would have. The grounds are beautiful and you can walk around and see so many different types of plants. They also have peacocks walking all around that my kids thought were so neat. I could have walked around for longer!... more

Smith's luau was our first and we were not dispointed. We felt like family and they actually cared if you had a good time. The food was incredible and a good selection, all you can eat and drink. Drinks were not watered down, especially the blue hawaiian's. Show was great but a little long after a couple of drinks. Definately... more

After almost two weeks here on the island we have seen alot. Too often the event is not like the picture or description. Not the case here. It was what it said it was to be. We have been to many dinner/ supper theatres, but never a luau. But there is a similarity. The food was awesome, served as a... more

On Christmas Eve, our family attended the Smith Family Luau and thoroughly enjoyed it. Even my husband, who really isn't into musical productions, had good things to say. The food was plentiful and tasty and their buffet service was well organized. While we ate, a Hawaiian band played island music and also Christmas carols! The manager came around to our... more
