I can't believe so many people actually think this is good BBQ. The only good thing is the service. The pork is chopped, not pulled. The sauce is terrible. The onion rings tasted like they were soaked in grease. They claim to have vinegar slaw but they obviously don't know what vinegar slaw is. Very disappointing. Still searching for good... More

I seriously can't believe the bang for your buck you get with this place. It's insane, I ordered a rib plate with about 6 juicy, tender perfectly smoked ribs, a generous helping of fries and a bun for only 10 dollars. Their Jalapeno poppers are no joke, either. Oozing with cheddar cheese and served with the most delicious sauce I've... More

Today's (8-22-14) visit was a pleasant experience. We arrived at the end of the lunch crowd and you could tell things had been very busy. Understandably, it took a bit longer than usual to get our food but everything was really good. The barbecued pork was tender and tasty, the french fries were perfect, the salad was fresh. Service was... More

The service is good and super friendly. Even though Wallace is known for their BBQ, I rarely ever have the barbecue. My latest visit I had the grilled chicken salad with blue cheese. They make their blue cheese in house and it is the best blue cheese dressing anywhere. This is also my 2nd favorite place for chili dogs. (Martin's... More

This was a true barbecue, family style restaurant. The restaurant appears to be family owned and operated. The food choices were good and the prices very reasonable. The staff was very friendly and and helpful. The food was tasty and seemed to be freshly prepared. There were many local residents present at the restaurant. I would recommend this restaurant.

Being a visitor from a "state of Northern aggression", I was a bit out-of-place here which was as genuine as to be in Tennessee Williams play. I was treated perfectly, and treated to a truely satisfying dinner of Ribs and Brunswick Stew...with Sweet Tea of course. For the price of a hamburger plate at a faceless chain restaurant I had... The hot sauce is good enough to take home-- and I did! I thought the pork was better than the beef, but all in all it's a great stop. Don't miss the homemade blue cheese dressing. If you don't get a salad, get it for your fries or something else. It's an awesome garlic-filled wonder.

After being gone from GA for many years our first stop in May will be to our favorite restaurant, we frist went to Wallace's when the rest rooms were outside and sandwiches were served in waxed paper. Good food has been the reason for its growth, if you are with 200 miles, it is worth the trip.

Go here once a week, and have for years, and tried the 12 oz. ribeye for the lst time last week. Ordered it medium, instead of my usual medium rare, due to a friend's taste, who shared several bites. Steak flavorful, but had a big glob of fat at the end...enough to fill a roll to take home to my... More
