Being a visitor from a "state of Northern aggression", I was a bit out-of-place here which was as genuine as to be in Tennessee Williams play. I was treated perfectly, and treated to a truely satisfying dinner of Ribs and Brunswick Stew...with Sweet Tea of course. For the price of a hamburger plate at a faceless chain restaurant I had... The hot sauce is good enough to take home-- and I did! I thought the pork was better than the beef, but all in all it's a great stop. Don't miss the homemade blue cheese dressing. If you don't get a salad, get it for your fries or something else. It's an awesome garlic-filled wonder.

After being gone from GA for many years our first stop in May will be to our favorite restaurant, we frist went to Wallace's when the rest rooms were outside and sandwiches were served in waxed paper. Good food has been the reason for its growth, if you are with 200 miles, it is worth the trip.

Go here once a week, and have for years, and tried the 12 oz. ribeye for the lst time last week. Ordered it medium, instead of my usual medium rare, due to a friend's taste, who shared several bites. Steak flavorful, but had a big glob of fat at the end...enough to fill a roll to take home to my... More

Great place with fast friendly service. Pork sandwich and ribs are my measuring sticks. Both are very good here. Also sides, especially French fries and onion rings are outstanding. Unique atmosphere - not sure what to call it, maybe "very southern retro"

Consistently good! Some of the items we've had: Wings, Onion Rings, French Fries, Pork Fries, coleslaw, Chicken, BBQ Pork, Salads, Chili Dogs. They have THE best blue cheese dressing and their Chili Dogs are to die for. I happen to be a Chili Dog addict.

I am going to combine two visits in one review, although, after the first visit I vowed there would not BE a second one. But, when my sister called and wanted us to meet them there to eat, we went just to be with family--NOT for the food. However, we tried something other than the barbecue and were pleasantly surprised.... More

The pulled pork is tender, juicy and tasty and the thrift plate is very economical although the other plates are very affordable. Service is good, friendly and generally fast. Just thinking about this bbq makes my mouth water.

Wallace's BBQ does not disappoint. The inside beef bbq is wonderful. The fries are homemade & hot when they arrive @ your table. The bleu cheese dressing is also homemade and great w/ crackers, as well as your salad. The service is always great, and the prices are affordable. Very clean and everyone is always friendly.
