I have been to many restaurants and noted Italian restaurant but Giovanni's far excels. The good taste is great and the service is great.
I am always looking forward to what Giovannis will create as special dish. I have not have anything that I did not like. The best restaurant.
The food here is very generic and not flavorful at all. I ordered lasagna and it did not taste "homemade" or authentically Italian. It was bland, lacked any seasoning, and I could've made better at home. My husband's chicken cacciatore was equally bad. The chicken was chewy and tasted pre-cooked. Both dishes were visually unappealing, and looked and tasted like... More
We found the food at Giovanni's to be excellent. We recommend ordering from the dinner menu no matter what time of day it is. (They are happy to let you do this.) It is much more interesting than the lunch menu. We are hoping he will open another restaurant a little closer to us.
I travel to the Atlanta area often for my job and this us my meal. For my meal I ordered polo siciliano it came with garlic bread, and a cesar salad. I got a order of shrimp on the side and a cannoli for desert. First off the shrimp was tasteless and gritty, the breading was mushy not crisp, and... More
My husband and some friends of ours went this weekend. We enjoyed everything about this place. The staff was extremely friendly and personable. The food was amazing!! Everyone enjoyed their plate. It is a smaller restaurant but even Giovanni came by a few times to check on us. It was a little out of the way, but I would return... More
This is a small place in a strip mall off the beaten path. Food was so so. Wouldn't go back. Service was okay, but the atmosphere wasn't great. Very small place.
No embellishment on the title I've chosen. The calamari wasn't that overly-salted, chewy, fishy mess you usually get. In fact, it tasted very.... authentic to what would be served in Italy. The wine was delectable, considering the server will practically make you feel ashamed if you don't order any. And the garlic bread melts in your mouth. Ladies, don't get... More
I have been to Giovanni's twice in the past month. I went with my husband and another couple for a quiet dinner and to check out the restaurant. We had heard mixed reviews and we were thinking of having a dinner with a large group of friends and wanted to see for ourselves if the reviews we read were true.... More
My S.O. and I love going there for a little one on one, the setting is great for catching up, it has a welcoming neighborhood feel, it's comfortable and the service is great. Giovanni himself is usually on hand and he's always friendly and inviting. The food is very good . Everything tastes authentic and fresh. I'm glad I have... More
