A great concept to meld asian (sushi) and mexican into one menu. The restuarant is small and there is usually a wait. They make the BEST bloody mary in Augusta. The tuna ta taki (spelling?) is wonderful. There are alot of rolls and it is best to get the wait staff to help you understand what is in them. What... More

Great Sushi. Crazy Roll has to be tried. Small place but always busy and service is quick and the sushi is fabulous.

The food was excellent, well presented and the service was just perfect. Appetizers were delicious, our food was hot and quite frankly surprisingly delicious and fresh made. The only flaw is the tables are too close to each other and trying to carry a conversation lacks privacy. Nice atmosphere but too close for comfort.

Recently stopped in for lunch after Thanksgiving holiday. Was pleasantly surprised to see that different preparations of redfish were on the menu. We chose the redfish sandwich. Amazing! Always love their food. The seating is a tight squeeze, so if you have special preferences you may want to call ahead for a special table reservation. Atmosphere is good, staff is... More

Love the food here. It's always good and I can't complain about that. The only issue I have is with the Surrey Center location. It's a little crowded and I don't like to sit right next to someone I don't know and eat. When I say "right next to"...I mean it. Sometimes you actually have to move a table in... More

My daughter-in-law and I went to Tako Sushi in Augusta for the second time and it was just as wonderful as the first time. The asparagus appetizer was delicious and the other sushi rolls were also the best. We always order the fully cooked ones. I love the cooked ginger that they serve on the side of the plate --... I read the good reviews and took my son to lunch on a Sunday. They were busy but we were seated at the sushi bar right away. We shared the tempura fried asparagus and it was unusual and awesome. We both ordered the bento box. It came with miso soup, which was good. Salad was also included and it was... More

Selections are eclectic and flavorful. Meal is always fresh and hot. This is not your standard Mexican or Japanese menu. Seating is sometimes crowded.

This is a friendly place and they tell me that Hispanic Itamae are the best in the world. I stuck with a white tuna sashimi, a roll, sorry I can’t remember the name, and some hamachi, maguro and unagi nigiri. I liked the white tuna but it was not very carefully cut. The roll was good but a bit sloppy.... More

I didn't know what to expect but on the advice of a friend, ordered fried asparagus as an appetizer and fish tacos as a main dish. My husband ordered a salad with salmon. We found the food to be fresh and delicious. I would definitely go back on my next visit to Atlanta.
