pretty nice place, good deserts too

a nice, unpretentious restaurant that has some really nice dishes and excellent deserts. We were in town for work, and it provided a nice place to talk and eat - recommended.

Friendly staff, quick seating. My husband and I are traveling to Atlanta and stopped here along the way for dinner. Thanks to reviews we loved this place. There was a hiccup with the computers in turn took longer for our food to get to us. Many apologies and without even asking for a discount bc of it we were given... More

The Servers were very accommodating, we had a large party of 8 and they helped us all with seating arrangements that keep us together. My steak and soup made the perfect meal for the evening. Do get there early, the restaurant can get crowed; however, the food is worth the wait.

This local favorite is sure to please. The cake display is near the hostess stand. Prepare to be tempted. The seven layer cakes are indulgent and must be shared, unless you have two stomachs.

We stopped here for lunch on our way to Charleston. It is right off the river walk, so the location was great. The food was really good too. I had their Mahi Mahi and it was very good. My sister got the tomato soup, which was so amazing we asked for the recipe and they gave it to us. She... More

Hamburgers had been partially cooked initially and set aside then over cooked.Shrimp and grits was over priced and average.Chili was good. Restaurant was a third empty but service very slow. Would not recommend.

An absolute must! After a nice meal I thoroughly enjoyed stopping in for dessert! What a selection of delectable sweets! Lemon cake was the best. Took half of it home because the portions were so large. Worth the trip for sure!

Saw their menu online at was pleased that they offered, fresh, organic and vegetarian options. To top things off they have an in-house bakery and the pies and cheesecake selections were amazing. The Hummingbird cake was to-die-for.

Appetizer: We typically either get the spinach dip (which is heavy on the spinach, so if you prefer a dip with more of the cream cheese then this may not be to your liking) or the corn chowder (which varies in texture, depending on who's in the kitchen). Taste is usually good, it's the texture that's the key - sometimes... More

Boll Weevil is the cake mecca of Augusta. If you have a sweet tooth, heck- even if you don't have one - you need to get to Boll Weevil. They have 2 cooler displays full of gorgeous, tall cakes. You can watch while they lop off a very generous slice of their 4-7 layer cakes for you and then decide... More
