Not as good as it typically is

I normally love going here for dinner and typically get my food to go. The chicken was over cooked so much that I could barely cut it with a steak knife. They have the best bread I think of any restaurant. I also love the zuchinni fritta. If the chicken would not have been over cooked my dinner... read more

Got takeout dinners from Carrabas and was dismayed to see the puny servings they provide. For 18.99 i got a very small salad of lettuce, grated carrots and a couple of olives, a tiny piece of lasagna and a very small piece of chicken parm with a couple of brocolli spears. They have got to be kidding. My husband ordered... More

There is nothing outstanding, but nothing bad. I have eaten at this restaurant numerous times over the past couple of years on my travels to Augusta and I have taken clients there, so that says that I obviously like it. Maybe I am spoiled by living in New Orleans, but I rate it just average. the good news is I... More

We went for our daughters birthday and it was not a good experience. We ordered simple meals and were shocked what we were served. My daughter ordered the Alfredo and received the pasta with no sauce on it. When we asked the server to prepare the alfredo the correct way she returned with a gravy boat of Alfredo Sauce and... The new seafood linguini dish was excellent. The asparagus and green beans were so salty they were inedible. Ordered bruschetta never got it. Salad over dressed and soggy. Service mixed. Pretty standard for a Carrabas except the over-salty vegetables. VERY busy when we arrived 8:45 on a Friday night.

Classic "chain" type Italian - over hyped dishes that are not that great or distinctive (their signature Calamari pieces are as hard a pellets). Place 'stank' of parmesan cheese (I like parmesan but not that level). Drink was really expensive with a glass of wine almost $9 ! Nothing distinctive and quite pricey in my view.

Went early on Monday about 5pm. Large crowd but wait was just a few minutes. Had the grilled pork medallions with red wine reduction and a fig sauce. Italian?? Don't know, don't care because it was really tasty. OH had the lobster mac and cheese with four cheeses. She ate it all and said it was good. Would go back... More

One of my favorite restaurants in Augusta. There calamari is the greatest appetizer. Plenty of food and fantastic service.

Last week my husband and I took my uncle here who was visiting from the Netherlands. We arrived around 8PM and were seated close to the kitchen. The young man who served our table was extraordinary. I wish I remembered his name. Despite my uncle's challenging requests and rude behavior, he went the extra mile to make sure all his... More

Waited over an hour because there was a party of 70 ppl celebrating someone's retirement. Idk who to be mad at management or the cheapos who planned the retirement party for not renting a proper space for that amount of people. I really like carrabbas but once again Augusta dining makes me just want to stay home.
