Mom and Dad's favorite ( and they are locals)

On an overnight visit with my parents and they took us here. Lucky us! They have small plates on their menu. Mom had the scallops ( small plate) and it was the perfect size and she said they were yummy. Since we were in the south, I had the fried chicken, mashed and veggies. The broccolini was... read more

In Augusta for The Masters and keen to avoid a chain, or get stuck downtown, we sought local advice, took it, and called for a Reservation. 5.30 pm was the only choice till 8.30. Wow. Must be really popular. Glad we called. Lucky to get a table ... etc Arrived on time and were stunned to find another couple there... More

Set in a quiet row of shops in a lovely residential area , this was by far the best restaurant we ate at during the Masters. A table was found for us , even though they were fully booked , in a private dining room . The whole place is very well decorated. Staff are well trained and friendly. Imaginative... More

I realize it was Masters week but it was Monday evening and the restaurant was NOT busy the entire evening. We had a reservation for 7:45. When we arrived there was maybe 5 tables with customers in the front and the bar was empty. I am not sure why we had to sit in banquet room, because when we left... More

What a great experience to add to our time in Augusta. From the moment you step from your car to the front patio and into the restaurant, you are whisked away to an ambiance of French, European flair. The dim lighting and the use of red pendants and red glass globed candles coupled with the smells of garlic, breads while... More

What a wonderful Easter dinner with my new bride. We started off with European olives, bacon wrapped scallops, Green Jacket salad and a weary good bottle of Napa Valley Merlot. Our main course of filet mignon and lobster was cooked to perfection. We ended our dinner with a bourbon creme brûlée which topped anything we had in Paris a few... More

Out of fairness, this restaurant is probably more geared towards the dinner crowd, so the fact we were under-whelmed wasn't much of a surprises. That being said, we both ordered the "Grilled Chicken Avocado Sandwich" for our lunch. The description on the menu said Grilled Chicken Breast, avocado, goat cheese, carmalized onions and honey truffle butter. Sounded intriguing, so we... More

The aromas of garlic and oils greet you when you step in the front door , just like a good French or Italian restaurant . The atmosphere is friendly and warm . You can see the chefs cooking . The escargot and the halibut were simply delicious ! The staff was welcoming and efficient . We will go back .... More

Greetings and service excellent. Food well presented but soups were barely warm, salad was good, pommes frites while the name is good, they were totally cold and rubbery as if they came from last night's dinner, so just call them French fries. Most everything was good including the coffee, they need to do better with serving their food hot.
