The best of authentic German and Italian food around! A hidden gem of a restaurant. Try the fabulous French Onion Soup.

Villa Europa is an institution, of sorts. It was the first Augusta restaurant I patronized thirty-two years ago, and it never fails to satisfy. In fact, very little has changed since then, except the carpeting. Same fine people own and operate, and the extensive menu is varied and familiar. It has an intangible element of coziness about it, and you... More

The "Villa" never fails to please, with wonderful German decorations and music, as well as excellent food and drinks. The Chicken Florentine is delicious, as is the Potato Soup. Black Forest Cherry Cake & coffee recommended.

Had heard many good things regarding this Restaurant, so maybe my expectations were set too high. Ate there with a friend during lunch and ordered Cordon Bleu. Was surprised how quickly it was ready which drew my suspision. I think it was pre-made and frozen?..Middle was not cooked well. Spaetzle was not authenic. Great decor and friendly atmosphere!

Our family used to enjoy going there for special occasions but lately they always choose another location when we get together. Buildind is old and run down, menu has no new selections and it is no longer a place we look forward to visiting

this is my ultimate favorite place to eat.(family owned) I love the German atmosphere and food. They also have Italian or American cuisine. Check them out for their Octoberfest. From the soup and salad choices, to the dessert ones, you can always find something wonderful! It is a great place to go before the prom, or a romantic night out,... More

I was so sad to see how badly they have compromised on the food here. I was living in this area for years and went here frequently. My husband was stationed in Germany and he missed the food, so we were so happy to find a great German restaurant in Augusta. We had moved away two years ago, but when... More

Horrible food. Dump decor.Very poor entrees, poor lighting. It was like eating in a fraternity dump.

I'm not a local resident, but visit occasionally. This was my third visit to Villa Europa. Instead of the low-key competent wait staff I had experienced previously, I was faced with a pushy, in-your-face all the time waiter who's answer to every menu question was "oh yes, excellent choice". I ended up choosing the lamb shank, which was rather tasteless... More

On the recommendation of a friend, I decided to try Villa Europa. I had never tried a German restaurant before, but I was feeling adventurous. I settled on the Escargot Bourguignone appetizer and Jaegerschnitzel (tender pork breaded and fried, and topped with mushroom sauce). They were excellent! I highly recommend trying one of their Schnitzels.
