Good German food

The Bavarian fritter appetizers were a favorite at the table. The salad was swimming in my requested blue cheese dressing, so if you don't like a lot of dressing you may want to ask for it on the side. Had the schnitzel, good sized piece and the breaking was well seasoned. Service was great... read more

Food was great, server very friendly and prompt. I had the schnitzel with German salad and German potato salad. My husband had a Reuben with a side of sourkraut.. We had the complimentary homebaked bread which is always delicious. We shared a slice of Black Forest Cake. The cake was really good but not quite as good as usual.

Was taken here after raving about another German restaurant in town. My fiancé took me here and let me just say I was very surprised. Service was great for one food was authentic and drinks were filled plentiful. I haven't had German food like that since being in Germany. Also the French onion soup was amazing

Friday evening dinner with friends. We were warmly greeted & our waiter was excellent. My dinner was delish! (Jagerschnitzel)...however I should've gone with the potatoes, my spaetzle was bland & not hot. Yes I know spaetzle is organically a bland dish but the gravy did not help much. I've had much better. This however was our only complaint & not... More

Decided to come here on our Date Night.. We get here a few times a year, but need to go note often. The food was excellent like always, great service and atmosphere. Had the Bavarian Fritters for the appetizer. Had the Rahmschnitzel and Spaetzle for dinner for myself and my better half had cordon bleu. Perfect! We must get back... More

Excellent service, great food, everyone goes home content, full, & happy! I recommend the Weiner Schnitzel, which is veal medallions lightly breaded & pan fried. Companions loved the Roulade, Bratwursts, & German Potato salad. Great service on a Saturday evening.

We live in Augusta so Villa Europa is a local restaurant for us. It has a reputation for being one of the city's best, and so does Luigi's--and my wife & I have never found either deserving. My visit last night was the first time in about 10 years to go there (invited by others) and the good news is... More

Two of us ordered wienershnitzel, it came cold with cold fries the breading was horrible and tasteless, it was frozen and warmed in a microwave, no doubt about it. The others ordered other schnitzels which were just okay, the salads were swimming in the dressings, you get the idea. Service was good, wine was good.

This was a unique setting with excellent food. Good menu with emphasis on German entrees. Waiter was a little pushy when taking orders. Highly recommend. Will go again if/when return to Augusta.

The best German food I've ever had! My mom's family were all great German cooks! This was better! Atmosphere was wonderful! The selection of wines and beer was stellar. I found I really like German beer! The owner, Pat, sat with us and spoke to each of us! I will be going back soon! We'll worth the hour and a... More
