The best German food I've ever had! My mom's family were all great German cooks! This was better! Atmosphere was wonderful! The selection of wines and beer was stellar. I found I really like German beer! The owner, Pat, sat with us and spoke to each of us! I will be going back soon! We'll worth the hour and a... More

I haven't ate here in quite a few years. My ex wife turned me onto German food at this place & it's always been exceptionally the best German Food in Augusta Ga. She was half German & I didn't even know what a Schnitzel were. Well being a meat eater I learned quick. Baby cafe or veal to perfection. I've... More

We dine here for our special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries because it is so good, reasonably prices and the atmosphere reminds us of our tours in Germany. Wonderful people, you will love this restaurant!

I normally really like this place, so I have no idea what happened today. Our server was really upset with us from the start. We had an extra chair at our table and we told her we didn't need it. The response was, "Well we don't have anywhere to put it so it'll just stay there." Uhh.. okay.. We weren't... More

We have visited Villa Europa many times. With my wife's German heritage, she is finicky about her schnitzel and spaetzle. This place does not disappoint. The rahmschnitzel is a favorite, as is the beef stroganoff (not always available.) The desserts are homemade and oh so tasty. Nice place for a family occasion.

When you enter the restaurant, there is a very slight musky smell. The decor and the walls are dark. The ceiling, which was white, was dingy and dusty. (Ceiling tiles were askew.) There were crumbs in my seat. Our server, Mia, was efficient and friendly. My husband had Beef Rouladen with spaetzle, salad, and hot rolls with butter. The Rouladen,... More

My husband and I went for our 25th wedding anniversary. The atmosphere was perfect. It was quiet and romantically dark! At one point, Ave Maria was even playing in the background. The best part of the experience was that there were no children. It was the perfect place for an adult dining experience. We will definitely dine here more often!

Started coming here in 1980 while stationed at Fort Gordon. It reminds us fondly of the delicious food we enjoyed in Germany. Now each year as we travel we make a point of stopping off in Augusta to visit friends and enjoy a good meal at Villa Europa. Only downside point: please work on the sauce for the Rhamsnitzel, very... More

After a long drive and newly arrived for The Masters the Villa Europa was recommended by our hotelier as being near by and very good. My golf buddy and I were not disappointed. The friendly staff, good food and beer were as advertised. We enjoyed the hospitality so much we went back every night. We sampled schnitzel in several styles.... More

The best of authentic German and Italian food around! A hidden gem of a restaurant. Try the fabulous French Onion Soup.
