Sandwiches and soup combos are unique to this cafe. All the soups are homemade and good. I like the chicken salad sandwich and the potato soup.

Good sandwiches and soup. Sunshine tea dis good. Mix of tea and lemonade! Great pastries to go. Building is dated and should be updated.

Sunshine Deli is a great place for good soup and a deli sandwich on homemade rye bread with New York style coldcuts (wonderful corned beef and pastrami). I always take home a loaf of bread or fresh rolls. The Napoleans and other pastries are wonderful as well but are, unfortunately, too rich to indulge in often. I used to go... More

Great tea and sandwiches. Not fancy just good food. Their pastry are also very good. If in town for a few days it is worth the visit

Neat little lunch spot! Daily double is a double meat turkey sandwich on their homemade white rye bread and a cup of soup for $3.99. Their soup of the day selection varies each day. Their desserts are made in house too! Save room for a dessert!

This tiny restaurant is not fancy. It is a family owned deli that has been in Augusta forever. The soups rule. 100% vegan. Monday and Thursday it is potato, Tuesday and Wednesday is split pea, Friday is bean and Saturday is lentil. Sandwiches are made with sliced to order lunch meat. There are lots of sweets, but my favorite are... More

When I think of bakery, I expect it to be open very early in the morning. Sunshine opens at 9 AM. The interior is very dark and in need of updating and their bakery area certainly lacks that true bakery look and feel. The items that I've tried have just been okay. Their sandwiches are very basic, but not too... More

You have to get the daily double, turkey sandwich on rye. The soup choices change every day. The potato soup is worth planning your week around (Thursday)

This place has been here for as long as I can remember. If you are looking for old nostalgia with great food for lunch then you should try this place out. The soups are different each day and sandwiches are great. I like the turkey Ruben.
