Good value

Had a great soup of the day, which was lentil. Not my favorite, but I cleaned the bowl; thick and obviously home made. Had a combo plate of 3 "salad" sandwiches - egg, tuna and chicken. All could have had more "zing" - they were somewhat bland. However, they didn't skimp on the filling, and I... read more

Food was disappointing. The soup came out cold and the sandwiches had little flavor. The interior could use an update. We used to enjoy this little cafe but it isn't what it used to be.

One of the small gems of downtown Augusta. Ready for a fabulous soup of the day and sandwich of your choice, this yummy deli will have you coming back for more. Don't forget to try the Daily Double and Sunshine Tea.

This place has been there for years. The food is good, however with so many choice these days it's a take it or leave it kind of place.

Sandwiches and soup combos are unique to this cafe. All the soups are homemade and good. I like the chicken salad sandwich and the potato soup.

Good sandwiches and soup. Sunshine tea dis good. Mix of tea and lemonade! Great pastries to go. Building is dated and should be updated.

Sunshine Deli is a great place for good soup and a deli sandwich on homemade rye bread with New York style coldcuts (wonderful corned beef and pastrami). I always take home a loaf of bread or fresh rolls. The Napoleans and other pastries are wonderful as well but are, unfortunately, too rich to indulge in often. I used to go... More

Great tea and sandwiches. Not fancy just good food. Their pastry are also very good. If in town for a few days it is worth the visit

Neat little lunch spot! Daily double is a double meat turkey sandwich on their homemade white rye bread and a cup of soup for $3.99. Their soup of the day selection varies each day. Their desserts are made in house too! Save room for a dessert!
