Lunch with Mom and Pop

We were down for a visit with my parents, decided to ride to Augusta for a meal, I've seen these restaurants before, in other towns. Never thought to try them, my mistake! The only gripe I have with them is their serving of cole slaw was too small, I say that because their slaw was real good. Sweet... read more

I love going here and getting the combo.plates, this place gives you a generous amount of food and the food is always cooked well, the fried items are light and not heavy and greasey. Each day they offer a special for the day, very good prices too.

They are very timely in preparing your food. It's very tasty and you will definitely get more than enough for the money. Try the Seafood Platter. Everything down to the hushpuppies are delicious. They have more than enough room to accommodate your group.

Stopped in as they were nearby, and so glad we did! My colleague said that she could pass on the fried fish, but the grilled scallops and shrimp were to tie for! They were cooked perfectly and seasoned well. We split a piece of coconut cake and....wow! Will definitely return when we return to Augusta.

I have eaten here before and always had the fried seafood and was never disappointed but since I have been trying to eat a little healthier I decided to try the broiled seafood this time. I had the shrimp, scallops and flounder platter with steamed vegetables. The shrimp was good but nothing special, the scallops and fish were flavorless. I... More

I've eaten here twice while visiting family at GRU medical center. Both times for lunch. First visit I ordered a fried combo of jumbo shrimp and oysters. Oysters were huge and so were the shrimp. Everything was good and not greasy or over fried. Second time I ordered a com o of fish and jumbo shrimp. This time it seemed... More

My wife and I stopped in for lunch. We decided on broiled (not fried) tilapia and grilled shrimp. Not too bad, but they put a little too much butter on it for my taste. My wife ordered the Alaskan white fish, but had a little too much brown veining and skin for her liking. But all in all, a pretty... More

I do wish they would remodel but I love coming for the lobster bisque and I wish they would use real scallops (they use whitefish) and quit charging people for them.

Not only are the servings are great, the food is excellent. My favorite is the baby shrimp. Food is all ways fresh and served warm and ready to eat.

My sister and I had an absolutely delicious lunch at The Harbor Inn for a mere pittance. Well actually, for about the price of two hamburgers at an establishment half a block away....Perfectly cooked popcorn shrimp. a large piece of white fish, hush puppies, slaw and a baked potato. The atmosphere was quiet and attractive even though most of the... More
