I have been here during a Sunday lunch buffet and a regular weekday dinner and both times were very satisfying. Since it is a fairly small place, it can get packed pretty quickly during peak dining hours, but fortunately for us, we have always been able to snatch a table. I have noticed though that their takeout is very busy...something... More

My husband and I have been to The Taj for the lunch buffet many times. It is always good and the restaurant is clean and service, which is usually the owner, is very good. This is our "go to" restaurant when we can't think of any place else we want to eat. There seems to be a lot of "regulars"... More

We went here for lunch one day for their Buffet. It looks really small, but the food isn't bad at all. If you are stuck in augusta with a craving for Indian food, this is by far the best Indian food you will find. It is quite authentic and the buffet will more than satisfy you. We are pleased with... Have tried some different Indian foods and they are really good. When I come next time to Augusta, definitely will taste it again.

Went here on a busy Friday night after attending a movie in Augusta with my son and his girlfriend. Very good family-style Indian cuisine, which is hard to find in the low country of SC! And reasonably priced. Less than fifty dollars for three entrees, non-alcoholic drinks, and delicious garlic naan bread.

The Buffett is really good. It looks small to start but you get so full. Everything is delicious and it changes daily. The salad isn't that great but that's ok, that's not what I was there for.

I visit this place 1 time a year because that is how often I get to Augusta. It is my favorite restaurant in the city. The food is excellent and after 7years of visits the owner, Singh, remembers me and my choices which really impresses me. I can only say that the food is top notch and the staff and... More

Went to the buffet today, and it was delicious. I have eaten Indian food all of my life all over the US and this place definitely sits at the top 10. The veg pakora was phenomenal. I want to say they were filled with onions, potato, love, and cauliflower. The service was also great, everyone working was friendly and attentive.... More

Staff is conscientious, prices are reasonable, and the food is fantastic. Everything is homemade and flavorful. We've been here three times now and it's consistently excellent. Chicken tikka and samosas are stand-outs.
