LOVE THEIR BREAKFAST!

As often as I can when I am in Athens in the morning before work I eat here for breakfast. I love so much on their menu. Great atmosphere and I've always had great customer service!

I alway love some hoke cooked food. And the breakfast here is awsome. And my fav was the chocolate milk! I love the mason jars and how they present it. Its a cute lil mom and pop resturant

Went to Mama's Boy after a friend made reservations for Sunday brunch. Great choice! We were lucky to have reservations because the walk-up line was out the door and down the sidewalk. Unfortunately this meant the front and back parking lots were both filled to capacity. I sent my wife in and had to wait about 10 minutes to park... More

I was recommended this place by a UGA alumni. I was expecting a little bit fine tasting food but was still pleased with what I tasted. I had the fried green tomato sandwich for lunch and fries. Tons of breakfast items and not much on the menu for lunch just FYI.

I love Mama's Boy, but be careful if you are in a rush. The line is normally always long... which isn't a bad thing but if you don't have the patience... They are always changing up their specials and the food is immaculate.

The place is a college student's idea of eclectic and bohemian. It's desperately funky but it works for a casual, just rolled out of bed, blow off class, maybe catch a late breakfast kind of vibe. The food tried very hard but was hit and miss. The fried green tomatoes were tough to cut or chew. The chicken and chorizo... More

Finally got to eat here! We have tried several times to get in but there was always a long wait with people standing outside to get in. It was well worth the wait! The homemade cinnamon bun is amazing and huge! Loved the cheese grits, thick bacon, cheese & eggs, and HUGE biscuit! We also loved the Jittery Joe's coffee!... More

I'd heard so many good things about this restaurant via TripAdvisor...so I was really surprised to find the service and food was so AVERAGE. Nothing wrong with the service, but i ordered the biscuits and gravy along with a side of scrambled eggs. The biscuits were HUGE, but the gravy lacked flavor/seasoning. The portions were large though. The restaurant wasn't... More

We loved this place! All four of us had a delicious meal with excellent coffee. I loved the poached eggs over a potato hash with Brussels sprouts, though the cooked radishes were a bit odd. The breakfast tacos, Mill Town breakfast plate and chicken biscuit were also excellent. Liked the casual ambience and the service was excellent. I definitely recommend... More
