Nice healthy lunch

The Grit's daily noodle bowl is a great option. Today's was tofu, zucchini, carrots, & onions topped on rice noodles with a thin chili & basil sauce. The staff are friendly and they offer local beers (none on tap). A great area of Athens to walk around at the start of downtown.

Do not be afraid if you are not vegetarian, you will still find wonderful foods to choose from at this Athens icon. Try the loaded nachos, a bowl of the soup of the day (ask for a sample first if the word "curry" is in the tile though--sometimes those soups may be a little too spicy for my taste, but... More

It is possible to eat healthy and enjoy delicious food at the same time. Our waiter is vey informative and welcoming. Food is amazing. Price is very reasonable. My daughter left her purse. They kept it for us until we picked it up. People are honest and good. We had an amazing dining experience there! We will come back soon.

We needed a quick breakfast so I was just looking for a place closest to our hotel. I was a little nervous about taking my meat-eating husband here but decided not to mention that it was vegetarian. I ordered the French toast and he order the breakfast sandwich. He mentioned how the bacon was different but good. So don't be... More

Such a sweet little restaurant in Athens, Georgia. I never imagined I would want to order a grilled cheese sandwich at a restaurant but this places makes the best! You can choose between the spinach or tomato. I always get the tomato but I can imagine the spinach is just as delicious.

I tried this restaurant for the first time. I am a meat and potatoes girl, but I wanted to try it. Very nice. Even though it is vegetarian, I enjoyed the vegetable plate. Also had the daily soup. All was very good. Sweet tea was good, not too sweet. Nice menu choices. Waitress was great, friendly and helpful. Try it... More

We always go here with our vegetarian family. Our Seattle kids love coming here. We love to get some ideas of cooking for our veggie family.
