I have been here many times living in Athens for 18 years. This is normally a good place. We recently had brunch here on Mother's Day, and my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed their version of a hot brown. We went there on a recent weeknight, and the food was just so-so. Temperature of the fish was warm, the spinach... More

I liked the Moroccan stew, and the presentation of the fried brussels sprouts was stunning. The service was disappointing. However, the waiter forgot to tell the kitchen that we had requested no mushroom, so my friend's Ramen, Asian noodle soup, had to be sent back. It was the saddest bowl of Ramen I have ever seen, not much vegetable at... More

Went in East West bistro on Saturday nite. It was the only restaurant we could find without a wait. I ordered the shrimp pasta and was sorely disappointed. For 16 dollars it was a terrible choice. The entree was nothing like the description on the menu. Small, most likely the frozen type of shrimp. Roasted tomatos were just raw unripened... More

Nice vibe here. Love the exposed brick and all the wood. The food was delicious. I recommend starting with the chicken coconut soup. Not diet friendly, but worth every creamy calorie. The filet was done perfectly (a true medium, not over cooked) with a yummy reduction, and the veggies were sumptuous.

My wife and I went to East West for Valentine's Day. I couldn't get a reservation at our favorite restaurants in town and settled for East West. When we arrived the hostess had trouble finding our reservation. When we were finally seated it took quite some time for our waitress to come by. She was nice enough but seemed to... More

In the heart of Broad Street is the East West Bistro. This restaurant offers many selections of Tapas, salads, burgers and entrees. I had shrimp and pasta that was mixed with different spices and vegetables. The dish uses fettuccine noodles and topped with parmesan cheese. It was very good and is filling. My wife's and daughter's salmon was delicious, though... More

A friendly service, sometimes a little unexperienced, but full of good intentions. A nice wine list; yet, not all listed was available (even the wines served by the glass). Carefully prepared dishes, but slightly over-seasoned and not all well balanced. Good try with potential, but the chef needs to further refine his dishes.

We ate here 2 nights ago( without reading tripadvisor reviews, shame on me) and were very pleased. The place was packed and we were told to expect 40 min. wait but were seated in around 20 mins. Our waiter was great and the food was very good. Only later did I see several bad reviews, hopefully problems have been fixed.... More

East West was great last two times I went about 6 months and a year ago, but this week was the last time I'll ever go. The person I was with said he heard that a new owner had run off their great chef and all of the kitchen staff plus most of the wait staff which was evident as... More

Renee sold this restaraunt in October and new owner is clueless. Waitstaff is horrible. Ate here Christmas Eve and was informed as we sat down someone had our table in fourty five minutes. Ordered appetizers that never came. Got bill and server put 20 percent tip in automatically- party of three adults and two kids. Manager said is was the... More
