Trully Fine

We had our anniversary dinner here and had a blast. The food was very good, well prepared with layered flavors well-executed. I wouldn't say it was outstandingly creative, but it falls firmly into the top tiers of the realm of contemporary chef-led food in a fine dining atmosphere. The wait staff... read more

Happened on this quaint gem in a large old home on Milledge on a rainy Friday night. The various rooms each with a half dozen tables or so made for a comfortable mix. Our service by John was terrific, showing the right blend of enthusiasm, knowledge and attentiveness. The best thing was the dishes that made a great use of... More

When we first moved to the Athens, GA area, this restaurant was an amazingly special place: local products, super fresh, creative, upscale cuisine. It was our go-to restaurant to impress our visiting friends and family. The new location is lovely, although if you are seated near the bar, it is quite noisy -not because of a rowdy crowd - just... I was at the opening of Five and Ten back in Five Points and have seen the evolution of this chef and restaurant from the beginning. First, the food is creative and always well executed. The service is definitely the best in Athens. The new location is also wonderful. But having a destination restaurant has its drawbacks. 5&10 was a... More

Originally I wondered if this place got by on the hype of TV reality stardom but we have been a number of times and have not been disappointed.

If you appreciate impeccably prepared food with a creative edge, you will love this place. The bar is also top-notch. Never had a bad drink there. I could just sit at the beautiful bar and have a cheese plate and a couple glasses of wine and be oh-so-happy. It is the one place I don't mind waiting a half hour... More

By far still the best restaurant in Athens. Their "new" place is great and the acoustics are vastly improved from the old place in Five Points. I love all the separate rooms. The food is always inventive and outstanding and the service is as good as it gets in Athens.

Very friendly and efficient service and a seriously good dinner - this understated restaurant, which does not boast about itself from the road is well worth a visit to.

Five and Ten upgraded restaurant by locating a new location on Milledge Ave. The best room for dinner is the one to the right as you enter. Food and wine are excellent and we always go there for special family events.
