This is a place the parents take their UGA kids for dinner. We had to eat early and they have specials up to 6. I chose one of the specials and overall the food was fine. The portions are small. I had shrimp risotto, flat iron steak and nut pie for dessert. This was one of the specials. My daughter... More

We have eaten several times at the old 5&10 location and almost always had problems parking. The new location is much better, having it's own dedicated parking lot. Food is as good as ever. Someone commented on noisy interior. That was the old location! New one is really very quiet, partly because dining is broken up into several rooms.

Salmon was done to perfection, delicate pecan sauce and roasted veggies. Waitstaff recommended Tally, Arroyo Grande Valley Estate Chardonnay (2012) which was perfect. Dessert: S'mores cake with house made marshmallows and a delicate cream sauce. Delicious!!

The restaurant was incredibly noisy and the food was ok, but not as great as we had anticipated. We were seated at a large round table which is usually great for conversation, but couldn't hear each other due to the restaurant noises all around. The bathroom situation was bad...had to wait in line for awhile.

We have heard about this restaurant for years, since its opening. We live in Atlanta, about 60 miles away. We finally got around to going. The restaurant was originally in an old "dime store", hence the name 5 & 10. They've now moved to an old house on a sorority row near the university. It's more upscale and very pleasant... More

I was very excited to visit Five & Ten as it was highly recommended. Unless you are the skinnier sister of Kate Moss or an elf or order a lot of entrees you will be going home hungry and broke. The portions are so small that after having an appetizer, entree and dessert I went home and ate again. And... More

World-class dining in a chic southern town! What could be better? Chef Hugh Acheson is the best in the South. Parking is a slight issue, although the fire station across the street is available.

Outstanding food. Great presentation, original - and a real treat to be served by a very well-trained staff.

This is my favorite of the "nicer" restaurants in Athens. I like the new location too. All the components on the dish worked together well in terms of flavor and contrast of textures.

Honestly, one of the best meals we've ever had. My husband and I were told to try Five and Ten while visiting Athens and we were not steered wrong! The food was incredible (grouper and duck) and the service was impeccable (friendly, knowledgeable). The atmosphere was elegant, but relaxed. Our oldest son was just accepted at UGA for next year....
