Really interesting menu

This was a fun place for a group lunch. The menu is quite varied, with interesting "twists" on familiar offerings - like fried green tomato sandwich, crab cakes, and even burgers. No one in our group of 8 had any problem finding something desirable. It's very casual and the staff was extremely... read more

Great food, great bar, great deserts, great service, great value. Nothing I like better in Athens. An easy walk thru a great college downtown. I liked it so well I went back the second nite.

I love this restaurant - been here for both lunch and dinner and the food brings me back - but the noise is just too overwhelming for another dinner trip. Was there last time mid-week and the place was packed @ 5:30pm. There's a point at which the noise overpowers the ability to ignore it, hear the person across the... More

You better be ready to wait to eat here, but for good reason. The ambiance was right, the food fantastic, the desserts spectacular, and the service impeccable. Even being there 2 hours from start to finish, the place was packed when we left. Definitely awesome in Athens!!

Enjoyed the cornbread-encrusted trout with sweet potato mash and okra. The chicken special was also reported to be very good. A little pricy but otherwise very good.

Dined here while visiting our son at UGA and after hearing about this restaurant. We waited a while for a table at lunch time on a Saturday - busy weekend in October. It was a nice atmosphere but tables were crowded close together and too noisy for our liking. Spinach salad and fried green tomato sandwich were worth getting again.... More

I was here with my goddaughter and her mother at the beginning of the September term in UGA. I had researched about restaurants and learned that Last resort Grill was very highly rated. Though they do to take reservations, they were nice enough to write us down early for our dinner, We had to wait 20 or 30 minutes but... More

From appetizers to salads to lunch or dinner this is the best food you can get for a price unmatched. You may have to wait and on Georgia game day you may wait for 3 hours but it is worth it. Start at the bar and Patrick will serve up the best Bloody Mary you have ever had. Maybe a... More

Food was good. Restaurant has a vintage appeal and is located in downtown Athens. Nice ambiance. I had lunch with a friend and enjoyed a salad and dessert. Desserts are great. I would recommend this unique eatery.

Creative meals, staff recommends wine pairings from a wonderful selection of wines. Specials are great and feature local farms and cheeses.
