Wonderful beers! And a great Bison Burger

Visited in January 2015 and requested to be sat at the bar. Enjoyed a flight of beer and a huge Bison burger. The beer was good and varied, only four different beers on tap but they were all well done. The burger was cooked medium and was better than I possibly could of expected it to be. Great... read more

Went on a Sunday afternoon. Word of warning - alcohol cannot be served until 12:30pm. That being said, our waitress took our order and at 12:30 showed up with my Mimosa! They have a Brunch menu on Sunday, but my son and I just ordered burgers. The burgers were truly cooked to order (unlike some restaurants that say cooked to... More

Copper Creek has always been a great place to go. I leave Athens without stopping here. The food is pretty good but the beers are incredible. Their stouts are some of my absolute favorite beers I have ever had. They are typically served on Nitrogen which is the best. If you happen to be there when they have the Espresso... More

the staff was super friendly and the service was good if not great. I had the bison burger and green beans and they were really delicious. I give their brewed beer a 7 out of ten but it was about 15-20 degrees above what it should be served at regardless of style. I had to stop drinking any after the... More

As soon as we walked in the door we had an excellent experience. The helped ys find the best table for our group that included a good friend in a wheelchair. The beer was fresh cold and flavorful. All the food was perfectly cooked and flavorful. And our server Chloe was super sweet. I definitely recommend going here.

The beer really is outstanding. And cheap. And on Tuesday it's $2 pint nights. What could be better. The bi-polar pale ale was flat out spectacular. The nut brown was less so but we just tasted that. I love my IPA's and the bi-polar is amazing. Highly recommended. The food is average or maybe even slightly below average. The burger... More

If you're visitng Athens, or just live in the area, I highly recommended stopping in to Copper Creek. On top of the awesome in house brewed beers, the menu almost always has something to hit the spot (love the chicken tacos!). And the bar lined with pennies is really cool - adds a nice eclectic feel.

The sampler platter was good and at a fair price. Did not eat but the menu had a good variety of food for anyone.

College towns usually offer a plethora of micro-breweries, many of which have questionable-tasting beer. This is one of them. The bar-tending staff is not terribly friendly, the atmosphere is borderline dank with a strange "office space" configuration of barriers/walls, ostensibly to create smaller, more intimate spaces in what is otherwise a giant room in an old building. The vibe is... More

I live in Athens and have been to Copper Creek more than a few times. The place smells like a bathroom, seriously. It's totally unappetizing. The food is mediocre at best and the beer...well, let's just say that there are two other breweries in town that are 1000x better than this place. I'm stunned so many people seem to like... More
