I live in Athens and have been to Copper Creek more than a few times. The place smells like a bathroom, seriously. It's totally unappetizing. The food is mediocre at best and the beer...well, let's just say that there are two other breweries in town that are 1000x better than this place. I'm stunned so many people seem to like... More

If I'm in Athens I always stop by Copper Creek to check out what's on Tap. A great brewery that you must enjoy while in the restaurant. There are rotations and seasonal offerings so if I'm ever in the area I have to stop by try a flight and pick my favorite. The foods an added bonus but the beer... More

The staff here is top notch. Great atmosphere. The very energetic and kind patrons are reflections of the staff's willingness to settle for nothing less than perfection. The Beef Stroganoff has made me a fan. It's been 7 years since my last visit and the long road to top has been met. Make sure you ask for Eleanor & Kayla.

In town for a wedding in downtown Athens. We pretty much wanted to walk to our destinations so one lunch was @ Copper Creek. This was by far our best food in Athens. I got tallopia and wife and kids got chicken. Really good, perfectly seasoned, nicely presented.

We went to this restaurant/brewery for lunch on Saturday May 24. The atmosphere was nice with an older building feel. We ordered some of their beers and then our food. We had the egg rolls as an appetizer. And they were very good. The 4 entrees we ordered were the tilapia, bison burger, shrimp and grits and crab cakes. All... More

The micro beer choices were nice and the one I selected was good. Our food was just average. Basic burger and sand which menu which is fine. Really, the main reason to go here is for the beer.

I was looking forward to having a few pints at "Athens Only Microbrewery". But the service started bad and got worse. We were greeted with a young lady outside wiping down a bench. Since we there a bit before noon I wasnt sure they were open, and she didnt even acknowledge us. We walked inside where found a bartender and no... More

We weren't planning on staying in Athens Georgia, but ended up here on the last night of our holiday. What's not to like about $2 a pint Tuesday night? Beer good - or not, who cares at this price? Husband's tilapia v. good. I ended up with portobello mushroom sandwich as falafel finished - okay. Cake for dessert was dry... More

Copper Creek is, I believe, the only brew pub in Athens at present. IMO the quality of brews has steadily improved over the past 6-8 years while I have been a steady customer, typically once a month. The choice of beers and their quality is excellent. I don't often eat here but when I do, I'm pleased with quality, quantity,... More

We love Copper Creek. We love the beer, and we always get the "fire beef skewers," and are never disappointed (the belgian dip sandwich is a good choice, too). The service is friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is fun! It's not a fancy place by any means, but it's a great place to hang out!
