We weren't planning on staying in Athens Georgia, but ended up here on the last night of our holiday. What's not to like about $2 a pint Tuesday night? Beer good - or not, who cares at this price? Husband's tilapia v. good. I ended up with portobello mushroom sandwich as falafel finished - okay. Cake for dessert was dry... More

Copper Creek is, I believe, the only brew pub in Athens at present. IMO the quality of brews has steadily improved over the past 6-8 years while I have been a steady customer, typically once a month. The choice of beers and their quality is excellent. I don't often eat here but when I do, I'm pleased with quality, quantity,... More

We love Copper Creek. We love the beer, and we always get the "fire beef skewers," and are never disappointed (the belgian dip sandwich is a good choice, too). The service is friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is fun! It's not a fancy place by any means, but it's a great place to hang out!

Copper Creek is a popular spot with the college crowd in Athens. We have dined here several times with our son and have always enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Nice selection of beers brewed on-site. Good wings & burgers, the Beef Skewer appetizer is good and Thursday night is $0.55 wing nite. Nice place for casual dining but it is... More

Beers were awesome, very simple and straightforward service and menu. Cool bar covered in (Copped!) pennies!

I don't like dark beers--so I tried their Belgium Blonde brew--so, so, good! I think it's just a seasonal craft. I got there around 6 p.m. and had a seat at the bar, and by 6:30 the place was PACKED and a bit loud. The food is reasonably priced. I ordered the meatloaf and it tasted good but was cold... More

You can sample brews made on site. I did not prefer any of their beers and I am fairly diverse on my beer tastes.

This place usually has several craft beers on tap which change often, they are usually either double IPA or really dark grain beer like coffee stouts and such. Nothing in the middle. For ladies their specialty is the martinis, they have a bunch of different flavors and there are good drink specials on the week nights. Ive had one messed... More

As we were walking around Athens, we happened by the brewery and decided to have a drink. We got the beer sampler and enjoyed them all. Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable about each of the brews.

Daughter and I had the Copper Creek on site brewed beers. She had the Pale Ale and I had the dark beer. They were absolutely delicious to both of us (She loved hers / I loved mine!). I love Guinness but the Copper Creek dark beer (Name forgotten, sorry) was even creamier, fuller flavored and more delicious than Guinness Extra... More
