Delightful meal and good service

Five of us for a business dinner. The menu has items for all tastes. We started with the marinated olives which provided small bites that did not interrupt the conversation. Five of us for a business dinner. The menu has items for all tastes. We started with the marinated olives which provided small bites that did not interrupt the conversation. We recently visited Athens for a concert and were told to try out The National. We've been to Athens 3 times visiting our son and this was my favorite meal I've had. The menu was really different and I absolutely loved it. The appetizers were fantastic also. It was so healthy and the textures were fantastic. The chef was so... More

Good food but not worth $100+ for a dinner for two. Not filling. Think people flock there to be cool. Once was definitely enough for us.

I am an older person so he kinds of food I like are not like the young generation. They might like all the gourmet foods, but I do not. As a result thereof, I was not really impressed with the menu or the food. I rate it average at best or worse, if you are really looking for good food.... More

Booked a Lunch for 10 after UGA Graduation. The Table was ready upon arrival, the wait staff was Knowledgeable friendly and on point with service throughout the entire meal. The appetizers and main course was superb and the coctails were all very well done. Two thumbs up and a top choice for me on any return visit to Athens.

Im a huge fan of the national! The lunches are very regularly priced, and the vibe is so nice but casual. The power lunch and super bowl are really great, filling and healthy lunches! Dinner is a treat, a little more up scale. Both are amazing and I absolutely recommend!

Good food and service. Can be a little loud but most people are just enjoying themselves. Fresh vegetable preparations are stellar. Desserts are always spot on.

I have heard a lot of good things about The National. We visited yesterday for a business luncheon. We were seated right away. Appetizers came out quickly and were delicious. Hummus and the pimento apps were chosen. Table of 7. Lunch order was taken...we chose the roast beef sandwich, shrimp perlooand the beef & lamb burger. We had a reservation... More

If you want a New York experience in the deep south then the National is for you! Quality food, great service, and excellently executed drinks from the bar. Don't forget to try some of the appetizers as well. You will be pleased!
