This cafe is attached to a cheese and wine purveyor. It is only open during daytime hours. We opted for a couple of glasses of house wine (of disappointing quality given the stable) and a shared platter of mixed cheeses. Water was freely provided without asking. A number of people were there providing the Cafe San Raphael with a good... More

This quaint open air Cafe is a very special place in Copan, Known for their coffee and cheese's, all from their family finca, only add to the high quality of the food served here. Service and portions are top notch, not to mention the friendliness. If you live in Honduras, be prepared to take some cheese home, which they will... More

San Rafeal is the best breakfast place around. They have bagels, cheese, coffee, smoothies, whatever you would want. Their staff is always friendly and hospitable. I love going here because it is relaxing, the food is delicious and well-priced and I can look at the beautiful view! I would recommend bringing a book or coming here to sit and read... More

Everything we ordered was excellent. The owner is Italian. There are a variety of Italian wines, biscotti and other products are availabe. We ordered bagels with smoked salmon, fresh fruit and coffee. It was all great. The staff was nice and professional. And, the outdoor seating area is very pleasant. I like Honduran food, but finding a nice European-style cafe... More

We stopped here to buy some cheese and stayed for a wonderful cheese platter that has no competition in the country. All the cheeses are homemade, and are of outstanding quality. The location is lovely in the yard of a house, with a view of the Copan mountains, about two blocks away from the main square. Can´t wait to go... More

It's a nice place to have some coffee. It is not the absolute best coffee in Copan, but it is good. The downside was that we got a grumpy waiter, didn't even let me see the check, but read it to me. When asked for some clarifications, he answered in a way indicating frustration. Besides that, a nice place to... More
