In the past, I have praised this restaurant. However, when I just returned to Pana, I discovered the Cafe Bombay is gone.

the owner is nice and willing to modify the ingredient of sandwiches in case u r allergic to something (big issue in Guatemala and Mexico!). The place is clean and straight to the main road.

After eating mainly at gas stations and highway restaurants for a week, I was feeling pretty sickly and in dire need of a big vegie dose. Enter Bombay Cafe. I nearly inhaled two carrot juices, lentil soup and a plate of steamed vegetables and felt amazing afterwards. Not fine dining, but pure and honest food.

Over a dozen trips to Guatemala, and I'll always remember Bombay Cafe as the worst dining experience in all of my time there. Horrible food, dirty everything and apathetic owner.

This is a good choice for those wanting a vegetarian or vegan meal. The salads and sandwiches were made fresh and pita bread was a nice change. Breakfast was average but the take out sandwiches we took on the bus back to Antigua were tasty, although the falafel was very salty. Right on the main street.

We opted for this nice little vegetarian restaurant which is located right on the main tourist drag of Panajachel, near the waterfront end of the street. Delicious vegetarian menu with good size portions in a central location. The falafal was so tasty and everything tasted fresh and filling. Very quick service.

Right on the main road, Santander, this small restaurant was very good and very clean. All vegetarian. They also were helpful in making something for my two children who like plain and simple!
