I've had coffees and cupachinos atCrossRoads..both superb. They also have a selection of custom roasted and ground coffees. Excellent pastries as well.

This is what I picture as a real coffee house. He roasts and blends the beans in the back room, then makes the coffee up front. Great atmosphere and even better coffee.

Cross Roads is not in an area where tourists pass by, but it's worth going out of your way to find it. The place is small and often packed with locals. They have an excellent selection of coffee to take home with you. Great people and great coffee. What more can you ask?

It really says something when the locals - not expats, but real Guatemalans, recommend a place like Crossroads Cafe I was in there quite frequently during my two week stay in Panajachel. Interesting to see that about 50% of the customers are not going into drink coffee, but to buy beans/ grounds. Mike's been doing coffee for a long time... More

The best coffee in Pana. The owner and his family are wonderful people to visit with as well. Make the stop, drink good coffee. Long live the bean.

We highly recommend Crossroads when you visit! The coffee smell is abundant and owner's daughter let us peak into coffee grinding room!

We were slightly disappointed with this cafe. We had thought it was a breakfast place as well. They roast and serve their own coffees, no decaf available. However, the cinnamon rolls were a hit.

This cafe has amazing cinnamon rolls, even better when you get them hot out of the oven! The owners are very friendly, and gave my kids a 'special price' on the cookies -- 3 for 10 quetzales (usually 10 quets each).

We stopped in for a cup of coffee and spent hours talking with Michael. He has many stories of traveling the world and life experience. He hand picks the best coffee from local coffee plantations and you can taste a difference in a cup here than anywhere else. I have tasted coffee from all over the world and I can... More
