The view is always spectacular, the breakfast..outstanding. Later in the day is somewhat "iffy" due to Mosquitos but nothing a little bug repellant won't take care of.

While vacationing at Lake Atitlan (Guatemalan Highlands), I couldn't pass up the chance to have lunch at Hotel Atitlan again. This interesting eclectic hotel is located a short distance from Panajachel on a small bay of the lake. Indulging in my favorite avocado preparation -- the curried chicken-stuffed half -- proved to be as good as it was the first... More

We wanted to have lunch at the restaurant after visiting the Reserva, and were informed by the person at the entrance that there was a Q55 fee (about $7) to enter the grounds, even just to eat at the restaurant. We did not want to tour the gardens, just have lunch, so continued on our way.

Hotel Atitlan's restaurant is probably the best choice in Panajachel. Even if you are not staying at the hotel it is a quick $2.50 tuc-tuc ride to the beautiful property along the lake. The restaurant is very colorful with table runners and bright colored plates. The food choices are varied and the opportunity to eat outdoors (under a canopy) is... More

We couldn't get a room at Hotel Atitlan, but we were glad we took a tuk tuk over to the restaurant. The restaurant was very eclectic in decoration and the view was amazing while the sun was still up. We stopped at the bar before dinner for a drink, and we were impressed by the drink choices. The service was...interesting.... More

This attractive restaurant is open to the general public, not just those staying at the hotel. We ate there for lunch when we visited the gardens. Each of us tried a different salad, and all were delicious. The restaurant itself is attractive, but even better was the view of the lake and volcano.

We stopped by just for breakfast with friends before touring the gardens and the lake. Breakfast was delicious and made just for us. There were many items to choose from on the menu. We had yogurt and fruit. A milk shake was also offered and was perfect for breakfast. At our table there was a variety of items ordered. All... More

This restaurant is arguably the best located restaurant in the world. The views are stunning. It's worth googling for pictures. The dining room overlooks the pool then the lake then two very impressive and very close cone volcanos. If you look carefully at the cliffs to your right (facing the lake), you can see two ziplines and you might even... More

I came here from Laguna San Pedro on a day off by boat. The boat ride was very bumpy. After arriving by boat, we immediately came to the restaurant while we waited for our 2 hour massage appointment (which was worth every penny by the way! and very reasonable too!). The restaurant has a wonderful view and a beautiful setting!... More

Beautiful hotel a couple blocks from the centre of Panajachel. The gardens are beutiful and border lago Atitlan. The food is really good too. We had a salad and then chicken and fish. All were prepared and presented nicely. We really enjoyed our visit.
