I had dinner there last week with friends. I had the skirt steak and it was excellent. Nice atmosphere and the prices were reasonable. Service was very good.

Love this place. Great atmosphere. Nice to walk on plexiglass, look down and see a typical carpet made of sawdust, quite impressive seeing it for the first time. The food is really good. sad note, chef was killed last week. i do not believe he did much of the cooking anymore, so will not directly affect quality of food. just... More

Guatemalan restaurants are among the best in Central America but there are not many opportunities to taste Guatemalan traditional cuisine. This is the one to try!

I was there in April 2014 with good people and enjoyed the place. the food seems to be typical and the chef is using good quality ingredient. Probably the taste have been modified to match the taste of the European and USA vistors which so far seems to be the majority of the customers.. Nevertheless, I recommend the place which... More

Nice place; attentive staff; I recommend it for business side-meetings over good local cuisine; food is reasonably priced and consistently flavorful.

Be aware that the restaurant entrance is off their parking lot. From the street, you just see the parking lot. The atmosphere alone convinced us to eat here, the food was an added bonus. Serve was pleasant and accommodating.

Guatemala has a large selection of typical dishes as each región has its own. In KACAO you can try any one of the most popular (Jocón, Pepián, Subanic). Guatemala´s typical dishes are very similar to Mexico´s as they have a lot of sauce in them, but Guatemala´s has its own special dishes. Must try!

We took a visitor from Costa Rica, and we were not dissapointed, From the service to the quality of the food, everything was great. It may seem a little pricey to the locals but this kind of food takes a while to prepare at home, so it was worth it.
