Not stable quality

We have visited many times because we have a note membership and some discounts apply.... This place is like flipping a coin... Some times is better that great and some is terrible. They need to renew the Sunday buffet which is the same for years....

I've been here for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and the food is always outstanding in taste and presentation. The desserts are unique and delicious. The decoration and ambiance are not extraordinary, but the food is!

Very inviting lunch buffet with a varied selection of appetizers, main dishes and desserts. All of the appetizers are fresh and nicely presented within the buffet (carpaccio de pescado, asparagus, tomatoes, ceviche, seafood salad etc. For main dishes there are many choices like pasta, chicken, beef, salmon and other assorted seafoods etc etc... Desserts, there are too many to list...... More

For my business trip I stayed at the Intercontinental Hotel where this restaurant is located. To avoid wasting time, I decided to have a quick lunch here. It was terrible. Restaurant was too hot. Quinoa soup had no flavor. Ceviche was terrible. Service was bad: waitresses would only come to the table to ask for my room number but not... More

I do not enjoy this restaurant to much, there was not to much on the menu, so i choose a pizza and for dessert creppe with nutella and strawberrys, mm the pizza was ok, double cheese, but the creppe was sorrow, instead of well cutted strawberrys it has rhe entire strawberry inside the creppe! I was amazed they serve it... More

The place was always empty, just another couple. Food was good, prices OK, service good...the menu is kind of limited, but i would recommend it.

Thank you for taking the time to write a comment for the Cafe de la Paix. Due to the low season from Dec 20 to Jan 20, it is through that the hotel as well as our main restaurant are very quiet during this time. It seems that Guatemala City is going to "sleep" during this period. Kind regards Pierre... More

Poor quality of food. Service average, better places near the hotel. I ordered tomato soup (not amazing) and local dish (horrible). Enviroment place was sad, so quiet, without music.

We had an early flight the next day, so we wanted to eat in the hotel. I wanted something light for dinner and ordered a tuna ceviche salad, which turned out to be a generous portion of tuna that was fresh and well seasoned. However, my partner's duck confit tasted quite dry and seemed that it was heated in the... More

It is like to go to a French Cafe ideally located in the center of the zona rosa.. Great place for croissant or to enjoy "le plat du jour"
