Tamarindo's was among the first restaurants to start offering fusion cuisine in Guatemala, and with its quality and innovation is still de refernce for that. As its name suggests, many recipes are swee-sour using tamarindo as ingredient, and all are simply delicious. A little on the pricy side, the atmosphere is very sophisticated, elegant, and sober, without being minimalistic. It... More

Make this a place to eat. The food is outrageous. We went there twice during our week long stay and were not disappointed. The tuna is superb with miso 'foam'. It is Asian fusion, not Guatemalan but if you get tired of Guatemalan cuisine, eat here. Nice romantic settings for the tables as well.

Here's a diverse Asian influenced menu, and a very lovely group of rooms. While the Thai style dishes aren't "true Thai" they do provide a very good representation of one of the world's greatest cuisines. Always excellent sea food too. Service is as good as one would expect in a restaurant of this quality (and cost), but the wine list... More

About twelve of us went for dinner and drinks and left amazed. The food was cooked perfectly. We each got a dessert and shared. All were exquisite.

The restaurant has a very good service. The food is very good but not all dishes were that amazing as there was a lack of flavor. There is improvement required to justify the price asked for certain dishes, especially compared to international standards. For local standards the restaurant is very god, however t will not be the first restaurant to... More

Great food, service a bit slow and prices on the high. The environment is nice, the place is good for business meals, family and friends. Have been here 2 times in the last 6 months.

Came here one rainy evening with my Girlfriend and we had a wonderfully romantic dinner. The service is impeccable and the ambience unbeatable. We went for the Italian offerings which were great (the linguini with shrimp was better, I thought, than the angel hair with shrimp) but I noticed most people were ordering Asian dishes so if I come back...
