Not sure how this restaurant has a poor review. This restaurant is not fine dining but everyone was wearing different attire from really casual to dressy casual. The waitresses were very nice and helpful making suggestions. I had the flatiron steak with cheese grits and the hart salad!!! Terrific!!! I've never had a steak so flavorful. The waitress said the... More

The food isn't the best when compared to larger city restaurants, but this is one of the best restaurants in Americus.

I had the KC Jones and, though I wasn't too hungry, finished off the entire thing (and it was huge!) without feeling gorged. My in laws were very pleased with their grouper as well, though one there was too much blackening on one. The atmosphere would have been better if the furnishing didn't look like it was from a little... More

I was looking for a place to have good food and a casual atmosphere for a family dinner. The Station had everything I was looking for.

I ate at The Windsor Hotel one night and The Station the next night. The food was tastier here. The menu prices were more appropriate for what you got, too. The ambiance and decor of the two places are not comparable. The first was quiet and a white linen tablecloth place; the second was a noisier, more crowded scene and... More

The Station is a good place to grab dinner. It is within walking distance of the Best Western Windsor Hotel. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. The food was tasty and seemed reasonably priced.

In Americus on business and The Station was referred by everyone at the hotel. Now I know why. It's a real gem on Lamar Street. Right downtown across from the Windsor hotel (another gem!). I ordered the shrimp and grits and it was great. Buttery shrimp served with two wedges of deep fried grits. Just like grandma used to make,... More

Service was a little slow, but the calzone was worth the wait! I got the "Hog" and couldn't eat the whole thing. Very good!

What a find! Exceptional food had by all 7 at our table with a ticket price that did not have me running to the bank for a loan. I will definitely be back for more crepes, something not seen on a menu in a while. Great service, even on a busy evening - and a visit from the Manager just... More

A varied menu from salads and calzones to steaks with fresh bread and plenty of drink selections. The service is friendly and efficient. A bar and separate smoking section is a great plus. Choose this place on your way to a show at the Rylander Theater and come back afterwards for a drink.
