The one thing we often miss on our travels is the espresso drinks we enjoy. The Driftwood has probably the best hot and cold coffee drinks we have had anywhere. The omelets with local black beans and wheat tortillas were a good way to start the day. Another good addition to Punta Gorda.

Like your coffee strong? Let Jill and her staff serve you up. Hot or iced, its some of the best coffee in town. Her vegetarian lunches are great, too. But the real treat is heading up to her Firehearth Kitchen in the jungle on a Friday night for pineapple skewered chicken, amazing sides, and some great music.

Driftwood is a pleasant coffee-shop type of business and provides free wifi that is by far the fastest and best in PG. They also have excellent frozen mochas and fruit freezes that are incredibly satisfying on a hot day.

An easy place to hang and a good spot for breakfast. Veggie omelet was great, and the fruit smoothies the best I have ever had. Good wi-fi, coffee and drumming vibe.

Great place to have a cappuccino and a special home made cake in the afternoon right on Front Street. I love it.

The Driftwood Cafe is the best spot in town for breakfast. Jill does and amazing job and the staff are friendly. You can eat at the buffet which changes daily or order off the menu. They make great smoothies and shakes and they also have an espresso machine if you need your caffeine. I can not say enough about this... More

Jill and company arranged catering for our service group (breakfast, lunch, dinner). The food was always delicious and made from organic and fresh ingredients. Jill is extremely creative and offered us traditional Belizean dishes as well as familiar American-style dishes with a tropical flair, using local produce. She also provided fresh-baked treats like muffins and cakes. Everyone, even the self-professed... More

We had a late lunch when we got into town; actually they stayed open to make us a couple of vegan burritos. The food was very good. Jill and her staff were very helpful and friendly. They helped us find our lodging, which was out of town a bit. We also stopped by for coffee while in town and it... More

The atmosphere and food are great at the driftwood cafe. Be sure to pay a visit to Jill, organize a cooking class and a drumming class with her and Emmeth Young, this is why you actually came to Belize for! Drum not gun!!

Driftwood Cafe catered for my ProWorld service-learning group for two weeks this January (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). The crew at the Driftwood Cafe was extraordinarily accommodating and friendly and provided us with a great variety of unique dishes using fresh, local ingredients. Driftwood offers a myriad of coffee drinks and frozen beverages. The cafe is decorated with local art, crafts,... More
