Wow - the view and the food are a twin bill. The shade was welcome. But, really, it's the food. The lunch buffet was exceptional - a curried style fish dish, and several other unique local dishes.

Our first day in Punta Gorda and we were just getting acclimatized to the area. Although Marian's is only open for supper she invited us in for lunch. Very good East Indian food.

I enjoyed the buffet here, especially for the money. It was also good to be able to try many different dishes. The service is impeccable! Very friendly! I also loved their hot sauce and lime juice.

I had the best fried Snapper with an Onion Sauce and Rice and Beans.I ate as I sat looking over the Punta Gorda Bay which is a view of power. Make sure to ask Miss Marian for a bottle of her habanero Pepper Sauce which she makes and bottles from scratch.

Marian is a great cook, but not so keen on the cafeteria style set-up for lunchtime...but go at night and you know what you are getting is fresh, especially if you order shrimp or fish, which she will fry there and then! Great views across the sea, but the outside look of the building is a little eclectic!

Sort of a buffet, with nice portions. Service was good & food was hot. Nice easy-going atmosphere. Only dislike- having to climb so many steps to get there. But, it was worth the extra effort.

Great food served cafeteria style. The stuffed jalapenos were out of this world. Marian's hot sauce is incredible and sold by the bottle. We loved it so much we brought a bottle home with us. Wonderful spot to eat, very affordable.

The menus was limited, but the food was good, and the atmosphere was nice, as was the price! They didn't start serving dinner until 7:30, which was a little late for us, but we enjoyed our meal.

Don't let the external settings of the restaurant to stop you from going in. Its buffet/cafeteria like serving. Still require completion of the building. But that does not stop you from getting an amazing meal. There are choices to have Belizean, caribean and indian style food here. Excellent flavor. Owners are friendly. I still crave for their curry after few... More
